e had the steam pots and seafood platter. The food wasn't very flavorful at all, the crab and shrimp were very small, the corn was mushy and the potatoes tasted like nothing. The platter wasn't too bad, but definitely wasn't worth what we paid. The servings weren't enough to match the price. With the three pots (two of us had the steam pots with crab, shrimp, potatoes and corn. Mine was the same but with added clams and oysters), the platter and three drinks the bill was $114. I've had MUCH better and more for less elsewhere. After reading all the favorable reviews, we were very disappointed...and a little ticked off. We won't be going back, nor would we recommend this place to others. This eatery needs much improving before we would consider returning.
this crab shack use to be really popular, once the old man / owner died, this place has really gone down hill, customer service is awful, food taste even worse, I am surprised they are still open.
great food great service great night
Im from Missouri and very much enjoyed the restaurant there. Joes in Chesapeake is very cold, service isnt great and the menu is very limited. Prices are a little high too
