Had a issue with AC not cooling as it should. They sent a tech out same day and was able to resolve the issue that several other companies could not figure out. Two other companies recommended that I replace the unit but Carolina Heating and Cooling was able to diagnose the issue down to faulty part which saved me thousands of dollars. Would highly recommend to anyone!
Carolina Heating and Cooling is a reputable company with many years of experience. I am most impressed with the customer service they provide. After installing my unit, they followed up with a courtesy telephone call to make certain my unit was working properly. I highly recommend them to anyone with HVAC needs!
Called the tech to come out and check my unit. The fan would run and turn off. They showed up a few minutes before the promised time. They tech spoke to me and asked what it was doing then went straight out to the Gas Pack to work. He came back about 30 minutes later and told me to try and turn the system on. It had dropped down into the 50's in the house. I turned the heat back on and presto, Heat!. He came in and spoke to me and explained what had caused the issue. A small screw that detects the flame had worked itself out and was not detecting the burner. So it was set up to cut off without wasting my gas. Anyway he fixed it and got the heat back on really quick. They were very professional and did a great job for me. Very happy. Will use them again.

My grandmother's furnace quit working and she called Carolina Heating and Cooling Inc. out to diagnose the problem. The service guy told her that the ignitor was bad and had to order one. After 5 days of waiting, the service guy was back out there to install it and still didn't fix the heat. He then told her that the heat exchanger was bad and that she needed a new gas pack furnace and gave her a quote of almost $5,000. I then decided to go look at the unit myself (I used to be a licensed HVAC technician) and saw that the ignitor was not changed but the ignition controller was. For one, it was the wrong controller. The controller did not have a "call for heat" (TH) function on the board and two, there was absolutely nothing wrong with the heat exchanger. The insulation was torn all out of the unit with only a few screws holding it together. Please do not use this company for your HVAC needs. The service guy is incompetent and they will tell you anything to completely replace your system to make more money.

Service guy was either a straight up crook or extremely incompetent.
He gave me a price that was over 700bucks more than the repair cost.
I did not tell him I am a retired Master HVAC Tech . If I were able I would have done the work myself for about $125 but I am old and unable to get up and down. I was lucky to find an honest guy to work for me .
The bonehead didn't even know how to reverse the compressor to save the freon in the system.
Only call then if you enjoy getting dry humped.
