Locustwood Memorial Park

I am completely distraught dealing with this cemetery. They are
rude and without feeling, at a time when my family needed compassion
and understanding, we are met with combativeness and abrupt short tempered responses. Years ago my mother and I purchased a double niche, so we could be together when our time came.My mother passed at the end of August 2017. When I called Locustwood to make the arrangements, I was told they don't have double niches, I told them that we purchased a double and it was payed off in 2014, then they said oh yes we did sell them that way but we don't anymore, than I am told two different last names cannot go on the niche plaque not enough room. My mother and I have different last names they knew this when they sold the niche to us and it's on the paperwork. Not once were we ever told 2 different last names could not go on the niche plaque, until after my mom passed away. After several conversations I thought we had it straightened out. The name plaque was put up. The plaque is wrong, it is not the way it was explained to me. I called them to explain the problem, I am told there is nothing they can do, the plaque can't be changed and you signed off on it. Again the name plaque is wrong and not the way it was explained to me.You are a business, you deal with people at their most vulnerable time, you should do everything in your power to make sure the people and families you do business with are happy. Very Very saddened and disappointed. My family and I are looking at several other cemeteries for our family resting place.
