This was the tenth service call for the same problem. Its been over a year now.
This problem has never stayed fixed. How many times will we have to wait before
this lemon gets replaced??? Normally i have a lot patients but im losing them! Going on two years now. We had to buy an additional Insurance to cover what should have
been covered under the regular original warranty! Please take as the last time we buy from the Sears Company if you do not take care of this problem!
Have never had such a thorough service from any company, Her name is Carol id# 741512!! she went through every appliance we have on warranty, and i do mean thoroughly. She taught us a lot we didn't realize, and told us about a cleaner for our glass top stove, and for our other appliance's. You have a fantastic employee in this hard working, caring technician. Hope we get her next year at our next check up. Ben & Katie
We had a huge snowstorm a few days before my scheduled repair. I called and advised my technician that the road in front of our home was difficult to pass and I offered to reschedule, even though we had been without a working washer for weeks. The technician drove as far as he could and then hiked through the snow to get to us! Amazing. We were so grateful.
The first technician that came to fix our freezer, ordered a part that didn't fix it when he came back again.
He then ordered two different parts, but the wrong items were delivered to our home, so the two parts were re-ordered.
After the correct parts arrived, another technician came and using only one of the two parts ordered....completed the repair satisfactorily.
It turned out OK in the end, but it's a good thing we weren't in a hurry to have our freezer running again.
After 4 trips my Freezer is fixed, I will say I was getting discouraged but it is fixed and the lady whom was here was awesome. Also the gentleman before her was very courteous and made sure to return with a copy of my receipt for future records. I feel they work under a very demanding work schedule that it can make this job at times unbearable. thank goodness I have a master protection agreement on my freezer!!! Thank you A& E for your time and your service, as for calling to get and appointment that can be just ridiculous!!! most are good at their job but there are those that don't listen and transfer your call then the call gets dropped......
The service guy was very experienced and had the repair done very quickly. This was his 2nd trip - the first time he repaired a part that had not been repaired earlier. He then ordered parts for a repair of a problem that had developed just a day before. All in all, one of the best service experiences I've had.
The entire transaction was superb from the timeliness of the appointment to the reminder, to the punctuality and courteousness of the technician. George repaired our Kenmore dishwasher in just a few minutes, cleaned up thoroughly, and was gone in less than an hour. Absolutely perfect in all ways.
Repair person thought washing machine problem was the control board. Waited a week for the part and it turns out it wasn't the problem. The door mechanism was the problem. Luckily the repair person had the needed part on the truck. Issued a refund for the difference in price of $42.98 with clear documentation left with me. Over a month passed and the refund didn't show up on my VISA. After literally another month working with Sears Corporate to resolve this, they revised the refund to $28.05. It is wrong for Sears to empower their employees to issue refunds only to reduce the amount later. Furthermore, if I had not followed up several times on the case, nothing would have happened. Extremely poor followup service will result in me never using Sears Home Services again.
My experience with Sears was one of the worst ever. First Tech came to my home and diagnosed the problem and decided it was the main control board. So we wait a week for parts and the tech to come back. New tech comes to the house and they were wrong on the first diagnostic. 2nd tech says its the door switch, goes into town and gets another part. That fails to fix it and now I'm on my second week without a washer. Reorder parts wait another week for parts and a 3rd Tech to come to my home. Misdiagnosed again , start the process all over again, what a joke. Finally after a month and a half and 4 trips to my home I get my washer back. No Way would I recommend these Yahoo's to anyone , next time ill just call a real service company
