About Search Results

YP - The Real Yellow PagesSM - helps you find the right local businesses to meet your specific needs. Search results are sorted by a combination of factors to give you a set of choices in response to your search criteria. These factors are similar to those you might use to determine which business to select from a local Yellow Pages directory, including proximity to where you are searching, expertise in the specific services or products you need, and comprehensive business information to help evaluate a business's suitability for you. “Preferred” listings, or those with featured website buttons, indicate YP advertisers who directly provide information about their businesses to help consumers make more informed buying decisions. YP advertisers receive higher placement in the default ordering of search results and may appear in sponsored listings on the top, side, or bottom of the search results page.

Unfortunately three strikes and you're out guys. Living in Cheboygan County, I always do my best to shop at the local stores since they support me when I support them. But with each experience, Rivertown Spa has left me wondering why I even bother with these guys. I don't mind paying the higher local prices for the convenience of shopping near home, but the attitude and total lack of desire to meet any of my very simple inquiries with any level of acceptable customer service each time I have either gone into the store or called has completely soured me to this particular small town business. For me, the last straw was today’s phone conversation where I was told that “they will charge what they want” for service because “I didn’t purchase my spa from them.” Honestly, for me this particular concept really goes without saying since I own a service related sales business as well and understand the pricing differences for casual customers verses regular customers, with me in this instance falling towards the casual side of the spectrum; but the condescending tone that I was met with from the woman who answered the phone was completely unnecessary since I was willing to pay for their service even before I called. I’m not sure about your particular cliental, but I wouldn’t think that very many owners of higher priced luxury items like spas and hot tubs are regularly calling you for free handouts. I am truly Sorry that you guys couldn’t/wouldn’t order the spa I was looking for when I was in the buying mood, but now after my umpteenth interaction with you, I’m pretty sure that I did the right thing purchasing my spa elsewhere, and will continue doing all of my future spa, accessory and service purchases in Petoskey, Gaylord, or Online. Best of luck to the future of your small town business; it hasn’t really been a pleasure, but thanks anyways.
