Events With Taste

Do not use this company for any catering event! Horrible experience just talking with this company. The owner of the business was the rudest and most unprofessional person I have interacted with in many years of corporate event planning. I had a very hard time getting ahold of anyone from her staff, and when I did, they didn't know who I was, when my event was, and their phone demeanor was that I was an inconvenience to them. The business owner Michelle then berated me over the phone telling me it was my fault that our date had been booked over because her staff had "called twice". These are not people you want to do business with.

There is no level of food excellence that Events With Taste could possess that would convince me to work with them again. I was stood up for meetings, made to feel that my event wasn't even on their calendar, had comments made about my budget, and when I asked them politely to respect my time (and my out-of-town fiance's as well) they said they would not work with me. A blessing in disguise that they quit on us, because they were unprofessional and were the only part of my wedding prep that I lost sleep/shed tears over. Their food may be good (I wouldn't know) but until they hire someone to run their business for them, I would rather have no food at an event than be continually disrespected by those at Events with Taste.

Attended the Parham/Flint wedding this weekend and all I can say is WOW! You guys did a wonderful job, the food was delicious, the service was amazing and the presentation was stunning! I would HIGHLY recommend your company to anyone considering a catered affair!

Events With Taste catered my wedding at the Tennessee Aquarium a week ago. I must say that the food was excellent however my experience was awful and embarrassing. I had a buffet style dining but all of my place settings were set out on tables like a formal meal along with a filled glass of water on the tables. My guests had several beverage choices available and when some asked for an empty glass to get a beverage they were told "only a certain amount were paid for and that is what happens when you are on a budget", this happened with the silverware as well! I had guests cutting their prim rib with a pocket knife! To make matters worse, they didnt even put out all the food that we ordered. I had a "sweets table" that was supposed to be set out at the reception and when asked where it was the man rudely told my mother that it was not time to set it out and she would have to wait! It ended up being set up 5 minutes before my new husband and I made our exit! Even though the food was good, I would definitely not recommend this company if you are looking for your special day to be remembered with a smile!

What a nightmare!!! I have read many other reviews and can include myself when I say I have been yelled at by multiple people, including an owner, Michelle, from Events with Taste. Overpriced, overpaid, and was offered no calmness during the entire time I was using them. The only thing I stressed out about my wedding was this catering business. They offered no support, barely offered good opinion, and seemed to not care about my event. They had multiple events going on, where it seemed they were half way doing them instead of putting full force into each event. They booked themselves so much that they were hardly present for the one at the time. It was obvious they were overdoing it and not producing solid catering or services. This place has the worst customer service I've ever received, and coming from the owners themselves! Event planners and especially those looking for wedding catering, look elsewhere where you will be treated right and special, not just another event to get through before the next one.
