After the way you talked to the young man at Mapco regarding the use of a non-compliant handicapped parking, I would not believe a thing you said. Your sense of entitlement came through loud and clear, and the fact that you stooped so low as to waste the time of the Signal Mountain Police Dept. What were you even thinking to take your bad day out on these people? Remember, when you shout your name and act the way you did, people are watching! Potential clients, keeping walking! This woman is a terror!
RCPM has managed a property for me for several years. I have been pleased with the way the company has promptly responded to my concerns as well as to those of the tenant. I feel very confident in the professional manner in which issues are addressed and resolved. Robyn and Julie have been particularly helpful, and I appreciate the care and attention they have given in a variety of situations.
I bought 6.32 acres and a house with 4 buildings/barns on the property. 3 years later I find out I was only given the deed for 5.69 acres and none of the buildings are mine, even though I pay taxes and insurance on them. I am now deep in a lawsuit against Prudential. They and their lawyers admit they made a mistake but refuse to settle with me. They only care about "winning" not about they fact that they are wrong and that they have hurt me and my family deeply. DO NOT do business with this company, if something is wrong they will do nothing to help you.
If you can help it do not go to these apartments. The office is always closed The management is racist. They are putting all black people out in only moving in white people. If you come to the apartments at night the lights are out in the back on one side it's dark the parking light is out the building light is out you can't even see to go to your car.
This property management company is a joke. During the three years we were there, we had a root grow through our main water line and cause a leak (which they tried to charge me for and then did not want to pay me back for the excessive water bills), our toilet leaked into the basement (we found out the toilet was not installed correctly at build), and the ice maker only worked when it wanted to. They never returned calls and some maintenance requests took months for someone to respond. When we moved out, they charged us for carpet cleaning although it is a regular part of owner responsibility. They charged $895 of our deposit for cleaning the house after we moved out, although we spent two days cleaning. They charged us for removing items that the owner had left in the house and I clearly noted on my move-out note that those items belonged to the owner and were there when we moved in. Rent from these people at your own risk!
Stay away from River City Property Management. They pride themselves on poor customer service, high fees, and doing the absolute minimum required repair when there is a maintenance issue. The property managers do not have backup coverage, so if yours goes on vacation there will not be a single person available who can answer even a rudimentary question.
While the application process is easy, and any necessary repairs are made promptly, Make sure you take a VIDEO of the place before moving out. Shadyness abounds when you leave. The owner of CPM doesn't follow the law.
I have to say my husband and I are very displeased with this company. We just moved to the area and were staying with a friend until we found a place. We found a place on Lindsay St. managed by River City PM. Elaine Collins does not return phone calls whether you leave a message or not!! We finally got her on the phone and scheduled a showing. We were told we both had to fill out separate applications for it online and my husband got a confirmation on his app but I did not. We called Elaine to confirm that mine went through before we submitted again because it is $30 for each application. We did not receive a call back but we did receive an email the next day saying that because she did not receive mine at the same time as my husband's that someone else had first pick. I really feel that she should have returned our phone call so that we could have gotten the apartment. So now we are out $60 and a very cute apartment.
