This place has lost my business overall...#NO Customer Service SKILLS #ATALL!!.. Being on the cellphone is more important than serving a customer and they didn't have a problem with letting me know what they don't provide (instead of having enthusiasm to try to satisfy a customer)... But since then; Gordan cleaners has won me over with great customer service skills with a greeting smile..Thanks, but no thanks wedgewood..keep staying on your cellphone!! Which is very important, I Guess!!
They lost my special (and expensive dress). It took me 2 weeks to get in touch with the owner. When she FINALLY called me back, she was very unprofessional and unapologetic, excusing her tardiness on health issues and saying, "If you think we are going to give you money for that dress you are out of your mind!". When I told her we did not want a credit because we did not want to use their service anymore, she began to yell at me, saying I had no proof that I even brought the dress in in the first place and that I needed to get my facts straight! My mom and grandmother (who were in the car with me at the time) could even hear her yelling she was so loud. She also brought up that even though we had used them for the past 3 years, our orders never totaled more than $15 anyway! Before I hung up, she said we could sue her for all she cared. Seriously??? Honestly, if she had just taken the time to listen to me instead of literally screaming over me on the phone and telling me how it was MY fault, I would be a little more sympathetic. Shame on you, Champion Cleaners! Now I know how they really feel about their customers. I trusted them to take care of my things, but when they didn't, I would have expected them to make things right. Clearly their customers are not a priority to them. Though they are the *only* cleaners we have used for the past 3 years, I no longer trust them and will not use them any longer.
This dry cleaners lost quite a few of our clothes and after repeated trips and calls to the facility we finally asked for the owner's info to complain. After speaking to the owner, Debbie Metteo, she promised to "get to the bottom of it" and call us back. Weeks and several messages left on her voicemail proved useless. I went back to the cleaners to demand recompense and an employee casually mentioned there had been a pile of clothes in the back for several weeks, which happened to be ours. No apologies, no recompense, and no more business from us. STAY AWAY!
They ruined my wedding dress. Thankfully, this is AFTER I wore it for my wedding, but still! The snaps that attach the panel behind the lacing to the dress are all missing, and the button for bustling was broken off, as well. I've used the same place before for other cleaning, but will not go back there because that is just unacceptable.
