In the early days on the company, Presto Logistics was primarily a long haul carrier hauling goods to and from California for moving companies and freight forwarders. Presto Logistics became the "go to" carrier for many of the California, New York, and Florida household good moving companies. New projects were commonplace and Presto Logistics soon made the bold move to take a step forward in the industry and open their doors directly to the public. This enabled us to not only provide transportation services, but also take on a whole host of warehouse related solutions.

Best movers ever! They gave me a great price under $1000!! I only had a small studio apartment but I was moving from California to Oklahoma City so I was surprised that they would do it for so cheap. They were very fast and nice. They really made it easy to move across the country, which is never easy!
I also wanted to mention that Eddie helped me with the quote and he was very nice and professional as well, thank you!

Ryan was the guy who set me up with my movers and he was very on point with him estimate.
The guys who picked up my goods also delivered it in phoenix the next day.
They did a great job with my stuff, almost too careful.
I would recommend giving Presto a call.
I usually never write reviews but I am often swayed by them so when I ended up choosing Presto after seeing all of the feedback that I did, I promised Danny (my sales rep) that I would write a review good or bad. He was very confident in the service that he was selling and assured me and showed me what I needed to see to make the decision to go with them. I got calls from all over and went with my gut and I am so happy that I did.
I had an amazing experience from start to finish. The men showed up on time on both ends of my move. They were very nice and helped me with things that weren't part of my contract (they took a fridge downstairs to the curb). They put everything where I wanted it and left an organized pile of all the boxes and plastic wrap they used for the move. I wanted them to take it but other than that I couldn't be happier.
All of my stuff was intact, I am still not finished unpacking but I opened every box and skimmed thru most of it and it looks like we have everything. Very highly recommended and ask for Danny when you call.
I had the pleasure of dealing with the people at Presto mainly Velma who was my personal rep thru the move. I really appreciate the companies care and concern in my move. I was not excited about moving, I thought about doing it myself but for a few extra dollars (literally) I was able to get the entire move done for me. I am so happy that I looked into it and that they were able to help me.
I would certainly tell everyone to use Presto if you need to move and want a reasonable price. Best best best.
Amazing... I've been in sales for years and I was laughing with their sales guy Henry about the fact that 1 aw sh** wipes out 1000 attaboys.. well here's my attaboy! What a great job the office staff did in helping me through this move. Getting calls consistently before I gave them my business was expected but to get calls during and after the move to make sure my move went ok was a pleasant surprise. Vilma called me after the move to see how everything went, turns out I did have a bit of an issue but she immediately helped me with it. VERY HAPPY, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
My move with Presto was amazing from start to finish! Like others who have recently posted, I was also hesitant due to the number of bad reviews here but I felt like everyone that I spoke with and dealt with truly cared about the company they worked for. I dealt with Ross and Henry in scheduling my move and they were professional, persistent (yet not annoying) and really showed that wanted to earn my business. The movers in California were amazing and the driver here in Cleveland was very professional with his workers that he got out here and made sure everything was where I wanted it before he left. I waited till the end of the move to write this review because I wanted to make sure it went well throughout and I couldn't be more pleased honestly.
Absolutely horrible. The rep on the phone, Donovan, was nice and polite, but everything else about working with this company was just the worst. They sent two movers to move things out of mine and my wife's two bedroom apartment, which would have been fine if one of the two wasn't staring at his phone at least half the time. Moving a relatively small amount of stuff down one flight of stairs to the moving truck (which was a Penske truck, not even labeled as belonging to Presto), took over nine hours. Not to mention they completely forgot to get the washer and dryer before leaving (which was on the contract for them to get). They acted incredibly inconvenienced and rude to my wife when she called them telling them to come back.
They scuffed up the apartment walls horribly as well, even leaving holes in some places. I took pictures as proof so they'd be paying for any damages the apartment complex charged me.
Once they got to the new destination (over 12 hours later than they told us they'd be there), a temporary storage unit I had rented while we finished up getting our new place, they offloaded everything, rushing it into the unit and stacking it all very haphazardly. I happened to notice that something seemed wrong with my office chair, to which one of them immediately said "WE DIDN'T BREAK IT". That should have tipped me off immediately. After blitzing through putting my stuff into the storage unit, the movers rushed away.
About a week later when I started getting things out of the unit, I found that a lot of my furniture stored in the very back had been significantly damaged. My desk chair absolutely WAS broken beyond repair, my desk was chipped and flimsy, a metal side table bent and useless, and our infant daughter's nice wooden crib had large chunks chipped away in several obvious places. All of these items were stored in the very back where I couldn't see them, no doubt to keep me from noticing before the movers could get away.
I called Presto the very next day, the same rep that I spoke to originally (Donovan) and told him how unsatisfied I was. He told me they have already fired the movers I got, as they apparently got similar complaints from other customers. He assured me that they would refund some of my money due to the damages to my old apartment and furniture.
That was the last I ever heard from them. I have since called and emailed, getting no response whatsoever. Presto is the worst company I've ever done anything with. Avoid them at all costs.
I read a lot of the reviews online before choosing Presto and I brought them up to the rep who was helping me Ryan. He took the time to even read through some of the reviews with me to address some of my concerns. He also brought me to many other websites where there are no filters on reviews and ratings websites such as the BBB and DOT.
Overall I must say that my experience was pleasant. Some of the things I was worried about like a shuttle truck that could be a large fee with any company didn't end up coming up on my move thankfully. The men who came out to my home were quick and worked well together. The guys in my new home in North Carolina were just as good.
There were a few dings on my dresser but that was really the only negative thing I can say. Otherwise, Ryan, the crews, and Presto as a whole were excellent.
The process was really great throughout! I set up my move in the matter of 30 minutes over the phone with Ryan. The guys in California was great to work with, very quick but proved to be very safe. I was worried based on some other reviews I saw that it would take a while to get to my home in Nashville, but they stayed in touch with me and got there 12 days after my pickup which is what I roughly anticipated. I understand that things can go wrong in this long moving process but I would give my stamp of approval on Presto any day of the week.
I found Presto online because I was moving from Irving, TX where they have a base. I wanted someone local and it turns out they have a local base in California where I was moving to. That alone was very comforting, I have moved a few times in my life and it was never very pleasant. I must say the reviews on here are on the negative side but I saw many other sites where they have very good feedback. I told Henry that I would write a review on Yelp after my move whether it was good or bad and they really came through. They came at 7 AM, almost too early but very prompt, got the job done quick but very efficiently, were gone in 5 hours and I have a 3 bedroom house.
The delivery was a bit harder to get exact times but they did stay in touch with me which they said they would. It ended up taking 8 days to get my stuff to California which was alright. The men on the delivery were just as cordial as the men in Texas. Very happy with the service and I will absolutely recommend Presto to a friend that is moving in a couple months, and anyone else is in need.
Very good service. Really liked the way I was kept in contact with from the beginning to the end. movers did a great job with the furniture and all of my boxes came intact. A few were bumped and bruised but the contents inside were intact and thats what matters. I truly recommend Presto for a long distance move.
I needed a good price on a move from los angeles to the long beach port because my move from the port to Catalina was very expensive. I got a great price from them and they did a great job packing everything into the container for me.. I really didnt have to touch anything it was a real breeze. They wrapped all my furniture with disposable blankets and kept my stufff from getting damaged. They also helped me with setting up a mover in catalina for the move in to my house. Very very very helpful. Thanks so much!
All I really had to move was my studio apartment from Atlanta to Gilbert AZ.. Going back home. I only had a bedroom set and some boxes and Presto was very reasonably priced, I saw some other prices that were close but the companies didnt seem too reliable.
I was very happy with what I saw and I can still say theat holds true. Got a great team in Georgia (albeit a half hour of work) but they were very kind and quick. Same for the delivery team and it just made the move very simple for me.
Just wanted to share my experience. Wish everyone the best of luck in finding a mover, I didn't have to look anywhere besides Presto.
I really need to thank presto for the amazing job that they did. Everything from the estimator Ryan who came to my home and the delivery crew who put everything exactly where I wanted it to go the experience was great. It has been a pleasure dealing with them and I know that if I had a poor experience I would write a review so I figured its only fair that I voice my PLEASURE! Will and have recommended to anyone that needs a good quality company.
Had a very pleasant experience with Presto.. I had moved in the past with them and it was pretty good as well. this time the delivery took place to virginia very quickly after the pickup, within 10 days from california. The men on both sides were very nice throughout the move and Ryan was helpful from start to finish, he gave me his personal cell and was always there when I needed him. would very much like to recommend this company.
One call to Presto Logistics in Chatsworth sealed the deal for me. I was treated like an important potential customer and given a good price right over the phone. Hiring long distance movers was the last thing I wanted to do, but the company I work for made it necessary when they transferred me to the east coast. Presto Logistics took a lot of the stress out of the move. I had rented another apartment in Baltimore and everything arrived the day after the driver called me, exactly on time. I am very pleased with the service that they provided.
Presto Logistics made our move from LA to NY easy as could be expected. We had called several interstate movers and came back to Presto because of the professional manner displayed by the sale rep and also the cost. They packed everything for us and loaded it carefully. We received a call from the driver that he would be delivering our belongings the next day, only a few days after our items were picked up. We met the truck at our new place and everything was placed where we wanted it. No damage, no missing boxes, no issues whatsoever. I highly recommend Presto Logistics as long distance movers.
Bad business practices and bait and switch - Our supposed “Good Faith Estimate” of $1,942.00 turned into $3,557.00 move! We chose Presto based on your companies statement, “We believe that it is our responsibility to service the customer first, last, and always; maintaining intelligent business practices is the recipe for our continued success. Safety, Integrity, Service is our motto, and it’s what we believe are the three most important values that set our company apart from the rest.” Unfortunately, this was not our experience for our long-distance move with Presto.
1.Estimate: When we booked our move originally we were quoted 371cf total and on the day of pick-up were charged for 625cf total -- a 254cf difference for a one-bedroom 600 square foot apartment, resulting in an additional $1,244.60. Even though 95% of all of the measurements were provided prior to pick-up so that this exact situation would not happen.
2.Packing Materials: Upon arrival, quoted $175.00 for crating 5 items, which we agreed to, but after the move was complete and everything was loaded we were again presented the Packing Materials List and added in several more items for a total of $300.00. Also charged for packing materials not used. Even though we paid $510.00 for packing materials we still suffered $4,000.00+ in damage to our furniture.
3.Negligence: We have very expensive and fragile furniture and expressed our concerns several times with the Presto employees regarding using the stairs instead of the elevator, which they refused to do. The elevator was located right down the hallway and would have only taken a few extra minutes to use. They stated that it would take too long and had another job to get to. Instead, they negligently loaded all of the boxes and some of the fragile furniture on dollies and dragged it down each step instead of carrying the items down the stairs. As a result, we had several broken items in the boxes and damage to our furniture. As such, we had to pay a $250 deductible.
4. Illegal Surcharge: we were charged a credit card surcharge of 3.5% and according to California Civil Code section 1748.1, a surcharge may not be added when you elect to use a credit card instead of paying by cash.
5. Delivery: Our furniture was delivered a day earlier then the first available date that we provided. We were driving across country and had to drive two 15 hour days in order to make it to Florida in time because they arrived a day earlier.
6. Several broken items in boxes and a missing box with expensive household goods.
7. This company does not care and refers your calim to a third party company.
Do not use this moving company!
Great job. When I moved from Austin to Phoenix I was a bit skeptical about who to move with. So I did not go with any company. I was referred to Presto Logistics by a friend of mine who told me it would be a good choice for a moving company. I gave them a call and a nice young man named ryan answered the phone, everything that he told me sounded exactly what I was looking for Ina. Moving company. He told me of the quality service and their dedication to making sure the move goes smoothly. From what I can say, everything went as promised. The movers came they landed my stuff into the truck in an orderly manner, we signed off on the paperwork and off they went. About a day before the delivery I got a call from the dispatcher with a four hour time window & they arrived on time. I was also contacted by the driver which was very convenient. The driver was actually a smart guy and he spoke of how the company puts the 'logistics' first. They really did a great job and I would highly recommend this company.
