Great casual place for your mexican food cravings. We went here with my business partner last Thursday and had great experience. Service was kinda slow but food truly compensated for it.
Tacos are to die for and very juicy. Guacamole and chips are great as well. Carne asada was kind of dry but that's the way I like it.
Will be back for more this weekend with my wife.
I don't normally prefer sit-down Mexican restaurants (since there are so many cheap and good take out Mexican places), but it was recommended by one of my co-workers, we decided to give it a try.
When you get there, they bring tortilla chips, salsa and beans immediately. And the bean paste was sooo delicious! The chips were also great. I ordered Cilantro Caesar salad with carne asada and it was good too.
Kids would love this place since they have people making balloon animals etc... and they are really good!
Overall, as much as I liked this restaurant, when you look at cost per value, I would still go to my favorite take out Mexican place since it's cheaper and as good as this place.
Los Toros Mexican Restaurant is a family favorite! We love the hospitality, the food and the great margaritas! It is a fun place to stop in for a meal, or plan ahead and have a party there. It is crazy busy on the weekends, but that is what makes it an exciting place to be! I always order the 7th Bull, the Crab Enchiladas! If you go there, tell Lucia and Nick Montano that Melissa (Miz Meliz) sent you!

I'm all for second chances but for the fourth time in a row awful, awful, awful service. Had to look for someone to take our order, forget on anyone checking in on how 'we were doing', and then the bill was overcharged by $25.00. It wasn't even busy! I keep going back because yes, the margaritas are excellent and the food is pretty good, but the other places are looking much better these days.\n\n
Los Toros has a good bar, decent food, but be prepared to wait. Parking here is almost always a hassel, or maybe its just me since I refuse the valet service here (this ain't no country club). The wait for a table can be very long, luckily the bar is pretty good, but be prepared to wait there too. All and all I feel its overcrowded and the wait is too long for the quality of food, service and drinks. It's not their fault though, there's just nothing to do for a 5 mile radius in that part of the valley.

I love this place! From happy hour to just having lunch or dinner. This is the first restaurant I visited on my first night in town and I have been coming back ever since! The margarita's are the best I have ever had and the food is ridiculous! There is also a bar area that is amazing for watching games or just kicking back after a long day.

I have been going into LT for about 20 years, on the weekends I have to wait, like everybody else. So what, I came for the great food, usually the service is prompt. I can live with i t on a weekend. Faster during the week but the quality of food and drink is always to my liking.\nMy congrats to Nick&Lucia&Alex& all the staff for making me feel welcome & wanting to return, over &over & over again. I think it 's the best place of its kind in Southern California.....

We've been regulars at Los Toros for over 20 years - seen a lot of changes, but we still love it. The place has definitely grown, and is often crowded, but Nick and Lucia have done an excellent job of managing that. The carnitas is still the best around (I make a point of comparing it at every Mexican joint I go to), the bean dip is unrivaled, and the atmosphere is simply the best (how many restaurants in LA can you actually get lost in?). When I have guests in from out of town, the first place they want to go is Los Toros. It's like a mini-trip to Mexico. How many corporate-owned chains are like that?
Good food and drink in a rollicking restaurant! This place is truly family friendly so bring the kids. And remember, LT is well loved by many patrons every night of the week, so tell everyone in your group to show up on time. Parking is a breeze with the complimentary valet. My finicky eater kids love to eat here - especially the Chile Colorado. Go once and you too will be hooked.
We've been going there for years and always enjoy the atmosphere and food. The most recent visit was exceptionally enjoyable since we took out-of-town friends and they fell in love with the place. Although I don't drink Margaritas, everyone else in our group raved about them. The food was out of this world and enjoyed by all. \n\nThis is a happy place that is relaxing and rewarding. I highly recommend it. Bravo, Los Toros!

The bartenders are total jerks and talk about everyone behind their backs. Also the drinks are cheap but way too strong. The margaritas are mixed with white wine in a pre-made jug ,then topped off with cheap tequila. The only thing good about the place is the friendly customers. Overall... I'd say it's not worth the hangover!
