Equip Tool

My credit card was charged immediately after ordering a $1749 lift. The item never shipped as promised. I never received a call or a note from Equip Tool explaining why. I called regularly to check on my order status, and was repeatedly told the item was back ordered. After four months, I finally requested cancellation of my order and a refund. No refund ever arrived. Equip Tool stopped answering my calls. I filed a complaint with the California AG’s office. When I was finally able to speak with Gerry again by phone, he said he would withhold my refund until I formally withdrew my complaint. Then he hung up on me. Be warned, Equip Tool is not an honest business.

BEWARE AND STEER CLEAR OF EQUIPTOOL.COM and JERRY!!!!!!!!!! Do your research BEFORE purchasing ANYTHING from there. I know how the “owner” likes to respond to these reviews and state how cheap the product was, well SAVE THAT BS! I ordered a BENDPAK lift for my husband for Christmas 12/13/2017 and that’s where the fun began....I called IMMEDIATELY, after purchasing online and it took two days for a call back, I needed the lift by Christmas and I was willing to pay for a hot shot or express shipping, needless to say after NUMEROUS straight up LIES from Jerry, my husband had to go into Houston himself and pick up his own lift. I have ALL conversations recorded with all Jerry’s promises. It’s such a joke. This is the WORST company I have ever had to deal with. They just want to make a sale and could care less after that. After this review I’m going to the BBB and BENDPAK themselves. I almost can’t wait to see the response I get...I have recordings and proof. Your low prices are what got me, but I guarantee you I would have MUCH rather paid full price from a reputable company than to have ordered from equiptool.com. Also, when I threatened Jerry with these reviews he literally BEGGED me not to. Told me “I need your positive review” he was scared, lol
Well, when you lie to customers and put them off you get negative reviews. The positive reviews HAVE to be from people they know, especially after how scared he got when I threatened him to write these reviews. Again, that’s on recording as well.

Recently made a purchase from this company, I purchased a robinair AC machine and a branick strut press. Jerrys customer service was beyond great went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with my purchases. Delivery time was exceptional. Overall great company definitely recommending it to others.

I would give 0 stars if I could. Please see my Google review for the whole story. Buy stuff here if you want to be yelled at by the owner. This company took my money for over 3 months and was never even able to complete the order, zero contact throughout the entire process.

This completely incompetent company cant even manage to process the return to my credit card! Unbelievable! They had to mail a check, and after 3 months of horrible business it was $1.50 short. What a joke..

Hey there guys. i ordered from equiptool.com and it was good. The prices and selection of heavy equipment is great. the will work with you on prices and shipping. most of mine was free.i got a hunter pronto 2 alignment System complete and a hunter TCX 550 Tire changer. everything came brand new but if you want used you can get it used and in great condition. just wish it came faster. pay for faster shipping. they even came and installed all the heavy equipment for real cheap. others guys were charging me an arm and a leg. great customer service and will tell all my friends looking for and automotive needs to go to equiptool.com. custmer for life

I order a tool from these guys online. It had a delivery window of 10-14 days - even though the are only 40-miles away! On the 10th day I called to see if I could get a tracking number and was told they would have to call me back as they couldn't find it. They never called back so I called again. This time the guy told me it had left Fresno and I would have it by Thursday (day14). Needless to say it didn't arrive. I called back on Friday to see where it was and again asked for a tracking number - they told me it was now at their facility and would go out Monday. I don't like being lied to and I don't like shoddy customer service! They get you hooked with a great price but it quickly deteriorates from there with no customer service.
