Wanted to do a repair that was not needed If repair had been done would have charged me $200.00 more than another estimate.
My experience with Pro Service was the most awful experience I've had with an auto mechanic and it ranks in my top 3 worst service experiences. They failed to answer the phone several times, failed to notify me that the needed parts hadn't arrived before I drove there for my scheduled appointment, and then failed epically by not realizing that they ordered the wrong part until I drove back to the shop and sat in the waiting area for another 30 minutes. They also failed to communicate that they had stripped a bolt during an oil change, so I sat there for almost 2 hours wondering what was taking so long. The customer service was awful as well. The kid at the front desk (while pleasant) just kept explaining what happened over and over again, rather than apologizing profusely and offering some way to rectify the situation. The mechanic apparently found the series of events amusing, because every time I'd catch him out of the corner of my eye, he wore a smug grin on his face. I was never able to speak to management/owners. And despite massively messing up, they still charged my full cost for parts and labor. Also, the website is misleading - it makes one think that the business is polished and legitimate. But in reality, the waiting room is a crap hole that plays trashy television and reeks of cigarette smoke. DO NOT waste your time here.
Spineless, soulless, cowards and liars. My car had failed inspection elsewhere for a bad exhaust. I then replaced my exhaust and took my car to them for re-inspection because it was more convenient. After waiting 2 hours they drive my car back with another failed inspection sticker saying I need suspension work. I called them out on this lie at which point they told me to go somewhere else. I have no problem never seeing them again.
