Horrible customer service. I called to request delivery of propane and was told that my account had a past due balance for a "tank lease fee" that was supposed to be taken care of month's ago by management. I had never been billed a "tank lease fee" and I have had AmeriGas for over 5 years at 4 different properties. The customer service representative named MIKE was the absolute worst. He is hands down the reason why I cancelled my service with AmeriGas today. Extremely bad temperament and attitude. Employees like MIKE and the manager, SHARON's, inability to do anything to retain a customer will cause the demise of AmeriGas. I have already removed AmeriGas tanks from one of my properties and am now having them removed from another. After the way I was treated today, I will make sure that everyone knows to stay away from AmeriGas unless they like being ripped off, treated like garbage and talked down to by a pencil pushing tough guy named Mike. I think this job makes him feel important.
