I am from Pittsburgh, PA and we have more "mom & pop" pizza joints than commercial pizza chain's & I really miss a good pizza, lots of sauce, ooey gooey cheeses and lots of toppings with a good homemade crust. One day I drove past by Napoli's and from the outside it appeared to look like a "mom & pop" pizza joint from home & I said hmmm, I wonder if they make a pizza like I know & love. Well today was the day...I drove past, stopped in and on the inside it looked just like a pizza joint from da 'Burgh I was just hoping the pizza was everything I expecting & it WAS!!! I literally just finished eating my dinner and had to find a place to write the review. Everyone likes a different kinda pizza so this may not be for everyone BUT if you can feel where I am coming from when I say that I was lookin for a "mom & pop" pizza joint then this place is for you!!!! I had a medium pizza with pepperoni, mushroom & onion and It was GREAT!!! I was very impressed and will be back!!!
I was sitting next to your group the night you were supposedly treated so badly. The place was packed as usual. No one has the great food this place or the Marinos in Waxhaw has. No one in charlotte anyway. I saw how your group of 8 acted to the staff. It was a disgrace. Some people are so full of themselves. If you are expecting four star treatment go pay the price. Marinos is a pizzeria in the finest tradition. By far the best pies and cheesteaks in town. We are lucky to have them. I know from eating there for over 2 years they do not have to put up with unruly customers who do not know how to act in public. They are plenty busy while others are closing there doors. Its all about the food people. Its pizza, and the best cheese steaks outside of philly. Do yourself as favor and give it a try. They were not voted best cheese steaks for nothing. You will not be sorry.
This is a great Family Restaurant that is close to home. The Pizza is awesome, not greasy. Our Family goes on Tuesday nights for Kids night. Dotty the Clown does Face Painting, makes balloon figures and plays board games with the kids. The service is excellant and the staff call you by your name. It is very reasonable and the kids beg me to take them every time we drive by. The owner doesnt just sit back and collect money, he is out bussing his tables and serving meals just like the wait staff. You have to try it!!! Ask him to make you a PERONA...( basically an Italian Sub in a Calzone Crust )
I don't know what this person before me had to happen, but I have never seen this place in the manner in which they described. We have been in this area since 2008, and the times we have gone into this restaurant we have always had good food and service. I admit most of the time we get it to go, but still the food is good. Currently they have bone free wings that are wonderful, and their greek salad is great. They have very good blue cheese and ranch dressings also. The stomboli is ok, but I believe I got the wrong ingredience in it as I am not use to adding my own ingrediences.
My husband and I and our 17 month old son stopped in on our way home from vacation and what a pleasant surprise, the restaurant was clean and the food was exceptional! I wish we had one of these restaurants at home! Especially the amount of food you get for the price. One of the best steak sandwiches I've ever had and we're from Pennsylvania! Our son loved the Pizza! And it looked like the rest of the crowd in the restaurant enjoyed their food as well! Keep up the good work and yummy food!
I've eaten here for most of two decades, and have never had a bad experience. Their pizza is consistently excellent, and their subs are fantastic! The atmosphere can be a little unpredictable - I've been there when it was quiet enough to have a relaxing or in-depth conversation, and I've been there when the jukebox and banging around involved in cooking someone's cheesesteak made it hard to concentrate on anything at all. Nonetheless, this is one of my all-time favorite eating spots in Charlotte.
This place has the best pizza in Charlotte. I have been going to this place for over 6 months now and travel from Weddington. I have also tried their lasagna, which is homemade and delicious. I disagree with Darren on the price. Palone's cheese pizza is $14.25, and well worth it. I have tried lorenzos and was very disappointed with their sauce, and their pizza is $14.95. I will say that the staff at lorenzos was pleasant, but the food was below average and expensive. Glad I found Palone's.
A reliable, nearby location for pizza, conveniently opposite a Ben and Jerry's! (Also next to a UPS store, which doesn't hurt either). The pizzas do not disappoint, and the staff is friendly, but the few employees there are overstretched in their responsibilities. This often results in long wait times when ordering by phone, and when you enter the store and ring the bell for attendancd, the staff is often too hard at work in thr back to hear that a customer has arrived.
I had to review this place, it was really good. a guy at work told me about jets, he is from Michigan where it started. I had a delivery from jets and it was the really the best pizza i have had. I always ordered from Dominos but i like to try new places and this is the tops. perfect amount of cheese and sauce. i ordered the square. i think it was called an 8 corner and i had the cinnamon bread( don't remember what its called) something like that. great pizza
I got a promotion box at my door for Jets. I bring in the box and get a free small pizza. I brought it in and tasted the best pizza I ever had. It was a square pizza with pepperoni. The sauce was really good. I have ordered from them twice already. I tried the wings and they were good too. I think I have tried every pizza place in town and nothing compares to this place. Im getting hungry thinking about it.
