Do you like cold showers, being able to hear everything your roommate is doing in their room from your room, having your windows thrown up on, little to no wifi, and witnessing multiple knife/broken bottle fights from your peep hole? Then you will love the flats at mallard creek! super thin walls and obviously quickly built, this apartment complex has plumbing so messed up smells emit from the resident's bathrooms and also from the sewer grates in the parking lot. speaking of the parking lot - hope you didn't like your car too much because it probably will get hit by another resident trying to park in the poorly lit, poorly laid out parking lot. I pay $580 and my roommate pays $500, we have the same room. Look elsewhere for a place to live. This is a horrible experience but I'm stuck here until the very end of July because of the stupid contract they make you sign.

My Dad has lived here for 7 years. Sunrise was the name prior to Emeritus taking over in 2010. I would say the overall care is good. My Dad is happy with the food. Some problems, mostly small, have been addressed as they come up. Staff turnover is constant and does not add to the quality. There is a new Nurse at least twice a year. My largest problem is the staff not returning phone calls. I tried to talk to someone at their corporate office in Seattle and that was just as bad. No one will call back. Amazing - and disappointing. Communication is a real problem.
Do not trust them, not all costs are given up front, no matter how detailed the discussion is of how the windows are to be done, and written contract (watch for ambiguous wording). Add at least %10 to bid in order for them to finish. They do not clean up after themselves; broken glass, jagged metal, dust, all sorts of debris, old window frames strewn everywhere! Says it all when they say specific customer requests mean the customer should do it themself.
The community seems to be nice. I used to live right around the corner so I know the area is. However, I am in the process of purchasing a condo there and have yet to be able to contact anyone to find out anything at all regarding the HOA. This is after I've tried, my lender tried, and my realtor. At least you should be able to email but there is no email information either. No help at all!
Renter beware - my daughter had watched the family pet dog for a weekend (24 hours) in Sept. The dog had an accident, which was cleaned up and NO damage was done to the apartment. Upon leaving in May she was charged $350 for the visiting pet. Talking to the managment to try to resolve the unethicial charge they would not listen.
Great! I enjoy living here and the staff are very nice. The pool is great and you don't even need a gym membership because there is one right here!
It was a great and quick way to find what I need.. Didn't have to rewrite or search again.. I think its a good source
