Towing company 30 mins away from University..No warning 1st time, signs posted away from location towed. Cars are parked in area away from food lion.. food lion is upset with practice. Some of the other larger tenants have left already. Who will speak on students behalf?
Vicus built us a VERY custom home. Vicus has exceeded our expectations. Each day I walk in an marvel at the home's beauty. We simply love our home. We had very detailed ideas of the home, its rooms and landscaping. The attention to detail, quality of the sub-contractors and kind and understanding project manager made the building experience one to remember. We have been in the house 4.5 months are there have been minimal issue that were addressed in a timely manner. This is the 3rd house we have built and we would highly recommend Vicus. If we were to build again we would select Vicus Builders. « less
They aint worth a f@@k. They wont pay you. They wont call you back. This is makes 2 times ive worked for them and both times where a mistake. Trust me dont waste your time
Horrible experience with this builder. Liberty negligently installed faulty sewage pipes under our property, which eventually resulted in thousands of dollars in sewage cleanup and repair. The contractor that we hired to fix this issue would not continue the job until we were able to capture footage of the pipes with huge hole and gaps because they were not fitted properly. We went to Liberty several times to ask for a fair resolution and the latest excuse is that they aren't sure if they are the ones who those pipes in the ground. When we asked who else placed the pipes in the ground, we were told, "Who knows..."
I was told by two realtors not to buy Eastwood Home but my husband didn't listen. 11 months in new home and lots of problems from day one!! My list is to long to write here, but what gets me is when they repair it looks so horrible that I regret calling them. I wish I could post the pictures. Learn from my mistakes!!!!!!
As a neighbor to a project from Vicus builders, it is very upsetting that they allow their workpeople to begin hammering at 6:15 on a Saturday. I believe that violates city noise ordinances. If that is how they operate, sounds like I'd wonder about their business practices. Be a good neighbor!
I wouldn't even give them a star but you have to atleast give 1. I called 10/25/13 @ 10:30am....I called 4 them four times, 1st time no answer or voice mail system so I just waited 10 minutes and called again, the 2nd time a you woman picked up laughing she was short with me saying just yes or no then she put me on hold while I hear her laughing and talking in the background. Then she hung up on me when all I wanted to do was get volunteer work I formation for my church. So I called again no answer or voice mail. Very unprofessional and rude.
As always a few things will come up that you want to add onto your home after you've settled on a price. I thought CWD Construction was very reasonable with the cost of the few things that we did add onwhich is nice. I mean, a builder could gouge you there if they wanted to but CWD Construction was very reasonable
DO Not to buy from Eastwood homes anywhere as they have lied to me about information on my home and were deceptive from the beginning of my purchase. First it was my appliances not arriving on time and I lost $400 in food (I have a special diet I have to be on due to health reasons) never got replenished for that as they deceptively had me and my realtor sign a piece of paper stating they had no control over the appliances getting there the day I moved in. (was never informed about this) Certain things in the house were not done right i.e. toilet paper holder fell off wall because they drilled three different holes right next to each other before finding a stud (why didn't they use a stud finder?) the back sliding door did not have holes in the railing on the floor on water would flood over in it and leak into my house, and now I am finding out the reason I have been sick since I have moved in is because the cheap carpet they out in (when in the beginning I was told they could fix that in a house with no cost to me since I had allergies and sensitivities to carpet but that was not the case when I was going through the loan and negotiating, they were trying to roll that amount into my loan amount and make me not only pay for it but pay interest on it too) because this was not followed through and I kept the carpets I have been sick as stated above and found out there is a chemical in these rugs that was slowly killing me and poisoning my body. I am now wheezing within my lungs and have seen that doctor a million times to figure out why I couldn't get any better so $2,000 to $2,500 later in doctor treatment and supplements I finally know what's wrong and I now have to pay for someone to come in and clean the carpets with a natural, dry carpet cleaner so that mold will not grow and cause more issues. I confronted eastwood about this to see if they could help with any of it as I have had so many expenses with doctors and such, but they are unwilling to help me with any of it. I would never recommend this contractor to anyone and will never buy from them again.
