Awesome agent. Hast our house under contract in less than 48 hours. Listened to everything we said and got our house sold for over asking. We were using her to buy our next house too in the spring. Would recommend!

From Business: Hi, my name is Patrick and I want to thank you for visiting my page. It has been my lifelong goal to put good people into good homes. I have a dream of one day be…
I have had a great experience with Brown and Glenn. We got all the paperwork done quickly to rent the house and then got the key code. Getting some maintenance done was delayed a bit but that was caused by me. We had some illnesses in the house so it was difficult to schedule people to come over. After all that was done the maintenance was done pretty quickly.I’ve always gotten answers to my questions in a timely manner. Sandra and Abby have both been very sweet to deal with. Very nice in emails and great to talk to on the phone.Overall our experience with Brown and Glenn has been pretty easy. We never rented before and they made this very easy for us. I’m thankful for that.
In 2016, I was house hunting and was a potential buyer on a transaction with Lizette Conover. I made a formal offer with a customary earnest money amount. They countered with an outrageously high earnest money request. It was 4 times the norm that would be customary for the price of the house. This resulted in me questioning the integrity of the request and the house not selling; the transaction fell through. Lizette poorly communicated and negotiated the transaction. Lizette should have known asking for over $12,000 in earnest given the price of the house was highly unusual and unprofessional. I would not recommend Lizette Conover to anyone and would never her again. She was not knowledgeable, not responsive, appreared unintersted in selling the house, and did nothing but ask for a very high earnest money amount. This did me a disservice.

RUN is exactly right! Make sure you do your homework and read these reviews before renting with Brown and Glen (Charlotte office). When your business has more negative reviews than positive ones, something is WAY wrong. And I wish I would have known! I originally rented my house from Home Union (which was awesome) but Brown and Glen bought the property during my lease. Home Union was easy to work with, courteous and great business people. At Brown and Glen, it is the total opposite. The staff and manager are disrespectful, rude and have very little interest in assisting or helping their clients. Their "manager", Sandra has a serious attitude problem and is disrespectful, which is probably why they get such negative reviews. They are IMPOSSIBLE to get in touch with, so if you have a problem, be prepared to not hear from them for weeks (no matter how many times you call or email) and when you do hear from them, they are extremely unprofessional. Do yourself a favor and STAY FAR AWAY from Brown and Glen if your looking to rent/lease a house. They are serious TROUBLE! If you don't believe me, go look at the reviews on Better Business Bureau, Yellow Pages, etc. and you will see the negative reviews out weigh the positives by A LOT! not even three stars for your business, shows a lot. You will be very disappointed if you try to do business with these people! Just wanting to help other people out and STAY AWAY FROM BROWN AND GLEN!! (You can thank me later).
Caroline from Carolina Buyer's Agent really took the time to ensure that I understood the home buying process. This was a crucial part of the that came from purchasing my first home. Caroline's courteous and timely communication was the big factor in ensuring that I was properly prepared for closing and really helped to make my first home purchase a success. I'd recommend Caroline and Carolina Buyer's Agent to anyone looking to make a home purchase.
I thought all Flat Fees were alike and had had a good experience withClickit last year but thought they did not service my current location.Isave taught me differently. So many errors, never could get everything straightened out, could not speak to a human voice, email responses did not cover or correct issues.withdrew listing after2 and a half weeks of frustration and returned to Clickit, poorer but wiser.BEWARE!!
I did not originally rent from this company. I am in SC and rented from a company called 10 minutes from my house that then sold to Brown and Glenn. I have contacted them several times about leaks that have been present since move in that have not been adressed by either company and have yet to hear back after 3 months of trying. You never get a real person on the phone either, it always goes to voicemail so they can say they'll "get back to you" and never do it. Can't just drive to the office now either since they're in NC.
I would like to inform my experience with this person: We meet Mr. Childs on Feb 16th of 2017 when he showed us one house in Mint Hill Area, at the beginning was for rental then we express interest to buy it, after few days he came back to us and told -owner has mortgage problem, but he agreed sell it just after 1 year- meanwhile you should go for rental agreement with intention to buy then we will fix sale agreement, so at this point you have to pay for application fee $75 plus half of the rental amount as security deposit $750 to hold the house for you and he said (don't worry this is refundable if we don't made any deal !!!! so we paid full of amount and after 4 days he was not able to fix the agreement as per our request because he want to make two different agreements one for rent and another to buy and we request just one -rent to buy-. At 27th of Feb when we ask for the -rent to buy- agreement to take a home inspector to the house and get a inspection, he cut of the phone and said if you are not sign rental agreement before to 11 PM tonight (Sunday) you will lose all your payment !!!!and from that day until today he don't answer to our phone calls or our emails and when we talked with owner's house he said, Mr. Childs said him we are not able to buy and he never said receive money from this deal and less got any money from that man as a security deposit, and his advice was -better you guys go to court and make a case for him- so already we are in process to sue him and his company. According with our research this is no the first time that he make this kind of no fair business and also somebody else is making a case for him.Nobody should lose money with such a business style?(Copy of this is submit to NC Real State Commission, complain department.)RegardsNasrin Hashemy
RUN! Take time and read through the reviews for this company, and you will see everything you need to make a decision. I will try to keep it short. I rented a home managed by Brown and Glenn for a year. First, it took 3 months to resolve a simple maintenance request, 3 maintenance guys scheduled to come out and 2 of them didn't come at all. The real issue came when it was time to receive my security deposit refund. Now, if you read through a few reviews, you will see that this company has a Serious problem returning Security Deposits. Keep reading and I guarantee you'll be astonished. The condition I left the house was very good, with a few discrepancies such as writing left on the wall from my two year old (in two rooms), carpet that was cut up (valued at $150), and a few sockets needing to be replaced on two cabinets (MAYBE 10 a piece so $20). During the walk-through, the agent mentioned how neat everything was minus the aforementioned areas, and we agreed they will take out of the deposit what was needed to take care of the charges. Fast Forward, I received a Itemization list ending in me owing them $400 after taking the deposit of $1125. Before I even saw this list, I sent the company a courtesy e-mail reminding them of the General Statutes that protect tenant's security deposits. After they saw my e-mail, and realizing that I know my rights, this company called two of my phone's multiple times in a Desperate attempt to get in touch with me. This is the part that will astonish you. They told me to disregard the itemization list that was sent out, that they were revising it--all because they saw that I wasn't going to ignorantly sit by and let them rob me. This is where the corruption comes into play, they took off a made up charge of $578 and changed an $150 charge (to fix the cabinets I mentioned before) to $60! Wow! Look at how they tried to get over on me. Upon questioning them for another $750 charge they said they were charging me half the damage that a CARPENTER "quoted", note the emphasis on quoted. They took my deposit off of a quote, which the General Statute permits; therefore, we will be going to court. I've had experience with a landlord in court before, for some reason, there are those that think they can muscle the little guy and act it deception. Conclusively, this company is unprofessional, and they will find any reason to keep your deposit once you leave. Do yourself a favor and Run out of their office
