Total disappointment. Bought two pair because the sales lady assured me I could return them if I didn't like them. Today- rude and refused to exchange or return. Also, she had placed the wrong inserts in them even after prompted to look at my account. This was my favorite store and I will never go back and spread to all of my employees how poor the customer service is!
The lady that works there is the rudest person I have ever had to deal with. Even though your receipt prints a 30 day return policy, she will argue with that it is a 3 day return policy. And you better call before going to the store, they randomly close and May or may not be open during their posted hours.
My wife buys her shoes here regularly and has bought several pairs, nice people, nice shoes. BUT I bought a new pair of men's Alegrias--brown oxfords (and a pair of boots for my wife for Christmas) and the first day I wore them. they scuffed on the toes--both sides. Whatever material (certainly not leather) they were made up just peeled up in 3 places. I brought them back and the nice ladies who work there said they had to talk to their manager (Travis? I forget) about it. They then called me and told me he said I just had to use shoe polish to fix it. They sounded embarrassed to have to tell me this.They knew, as I did, I assume, that it was a shoe defect and a layer of the material had peeled off. Shoe polish had no effect.They are just gathering dust in the garage now. I will go back to Birkenstocks.And my wife will buy her shoes in the future from Amazon or Zappos.Jeff R
