I found this salon because it is only seconds from my house, but now am hooked and would drive all the way across town if I had to! The ambience is relaxed and extremely hospitable and I could not be more pleased with the quality of my haircuts. Bradleigh is cute, hip and eager to make each haircut exactly as I want it. I have already sent my partner in as a referral and have mentioned it to coworkers as well.
I found this salon by pure chance on the web. Their prices are in line with what I think is reasonable. I was pretty loyal to my hair salon in Ohio but knew it was time to find something local. Leigh has always done a wonderful job. She listens and is cautious which is what you need in a hair stylist. If you want more - she'll do it! The salon is always clean and on time!
I had a wonderful experience at OrangeOlive hair Salon. Mary asked lots of questions before beginning and explained everything as she was working. My hair looks amazing. The products she used made my hair very soft and manageable. I loved the free samples of the products when I was finished
I have been getting my hair cut by Amber since she was a teenager lol She is very professional, provides excellent customer service, listens to me as I normally ramble on about anything that pops into my mind. Always goes above and beyond. I wouldnt let anyone else cut my hair, i would feel dirty inside. I love the Orange Olive and I always tell people to go there. Thanks again for everything.
I had been going to another salon and seeing the same stylist for 6 years, but it was time to switch things up because I felt the stylist and I weren't getting anywhere with new styles. After reading reviews on Yelp for the Orange Olive I decided to give them a ring since it was convenient to work and home. I made my appointment with Bradleigh for the same day, she was the new girl on the block but I was willing to give her a shot. I am very happy I did because she did a fantastic job! She listened to me, gave me her ideas and executed my new hairstyle exactly. Salon was clean, staff was professional and I loved the salon decor. Overall I give this place 5 stars and plan to return for my next hair cut!
I have been having my hair styled and colored at Orange Olive for over a year now. Consistently I am happy with the results. I love the simple yet artisitic feeling that the combination of a remodeled cottage home combined with contemporary hair options. Although Mary is my hair artist and would not trade her for the world, I can honestly say I would recommend any of the artists as they are intuitive and responsive to your hair style and care needs, as a first time client or a regular like myself!!! My husband Steve recommends them too!!!
I got just a trim with a little shape added. I never request a stylist I just book my appointment so this was my third hair cut and my third stylist. As usual my experience was wonderful. I have come out loving every haircut (I hate to cut my hair) and loving the person who did it. All your staff is friendly and knowledgeable.
Orange Olive is located in a cozy bungalow in NoDa--and the atmosphere is equally friendly. My stylist Leigh has been cutting my hair for about a year now, and I've never been happier--from cuts to highlights. You won't feel pressured to buy anything here. You'll feel welcomed and appreciated, and you'll be surrounded by the art of local artists. Oh, did I mention warm chocolate chip cookies? If you just want a great haircut with friendly people in a comfortable, beautiful space--Orange Olive is for you.
I have made many referrals after countless compliments on my hair. I have not been disappointed once and neither have my friends. The salon fits in perfect to the NoDa neighborhood offers services and styles that cater their varied clientele. Make your next appointment with Maria and you won't be disappointed.

I have been to Orange Olive Hair Gallery twice now and have seen Destyn both times. She does a great job and my hair looks great afterwards. I have had a hard time finding someone in Columbia or Lexington to cut my hair right and I found Orange Olive by chance and I am willing to drive the distance for a great cut!

Do not frequent this salon, unless you want to be charged for a full appointment by the venemous little snake of a receptionist, Jeff. I was headed for my 2 hour, monthly appointment with my stylist there, whom I have frequented for over a year. Even though i had left over 20 minutes early, I had gotten caught up with Speed Street traffic, and called to say I was desperately trying to get there on time but would be 10 minutes late. This nasty little piece of work, Jeff, informed me in the most condescending and self-important of tones that if i was 15 minutes late, they would cancel my appointment and fully charge me while recording the incident on my customer record for further reference. I was ""inconveniencing"" the other clients, my stylist was overbooked and couldn't wait 15 minutes for me. Seriously? I have waited for her for at least 15 minutes before without complaint. I was given another stylist on 2 occasions without complaining or being offset - people are late, and hair appointments get delayed. Clearly Orange Olive doesn't need your business, folks. They will charge ANYONE who shows up late for a full appointment and CANCEL your appointment at the same time. His entire attitude was supercilious. Frankly, I liked my stylist, but not enough to be treated this way. This is NODA - NOT a New York $500 session salon. Get over yourselves! With over 50 other quality salons in Charlotte, i will take my business where I am treated NOT like some sort of criminal or child. With a snot-nosed receptionist like Jeff, Orange Olive will be out of business soon.

I decided to try out Orange Olive for a haircut. I'm so tired of going to different salons in Charlotte that are way overpriced and mediocre. Destyn was my stylist and she did a great job, especially for only $40 + tip. I live in South Charlotte and it really was worth the drive for me. Give Orange Olive a try!

After moving to Charlotte two years ago, I have finally found a salon and a stylist that are everything I am looking for. Leigh did an amazing highlight and style for me! She listened to what my concerns were and she made me feel very welcomed. Orange Olive is the perfect place to go!

After having a falling out with my old salon (tried charging me $140 for calling to cancel an appointment when I had food poisoning) I found Orange Olive less than a mile from my house in NoDa. This place is so cool, as soon as you walk in you see the art all over the walls (local artist that they change out quarterly) and just get a comfortable feeling from the old remolded house. I was fortunate enough to get an appointment with Amber who was such an awesome hairdresser. I could not have asked for a better person. She was so personable and a really interesting to talk to. My hair has never looked so good and I will definitely be going back to see her again. They also carry a great line of products and offer many cool services (I want the Brazilian Blowout personally). Great salon that I definitely recommend!
