Great Pet People!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND: Being new to the area, I was looking for a Vet for my babies so I asked my neighbors who they would recommend. Many of us have pets and one Vet name kept coming up and that was Dr. Cooper with St.Francis Hospital for Animals. I gave them a call, took Max to see him and was very impressed from start to finish. The atmosphere was very pleasant, the staff knowledgeable, and the care wonderful. Thanks to all of you for being such great animal people :)

My first visit, friendly, caring & helpful staff: A+
Veterinarian's professionalism, handling and examination: A+
I was very impressed with the service my dog received from start to finish and will continue to use this hospital. I appreciate good customer service and genuine caring animal people.
Dr. Cooper performed knee surgery on my chocolate lab, Sammy. He told me what to expect for recovery time and pain management. His personal follow up with a phone call a week later to check on her was greatly appreciated. A few months later I saw him and invited him for a visit to the house to see her catch her beloved frisbee. He stopped by that weekend on his way home from the clinic. Customer service and care for my dog has been at the highest level. I would recommend Dr. Cooper to any pet owner.

Dr. Bill has been my Veterinarian since opening his practice. He and his staff have always been kind, helpful, sympathetic and professional through out the life time of all my pets. Dr.Bill has been there whenever my pets needed help, even late nights! He is always very thorough in explaining any problem my pets had. He will consult with Specialists or refer your pet to the appropriate doctor if he can't help. Dr. Cooper is and will always be my pets doctor. St. Francis Hospital for Animals is the best!

My cat was brought in 5 months ago with a suspicious bump on his back which was dismissed as an ""allergy"" and sent home. 6 weeks later I decided he should have a biopsy done which DR consulted with me on results and stated it was a ""benign melanoma."" When my cat quit eating about 8 weeks later and I brought him back in with a lump on his tummy Doc said""hmmmm, this just came out of nowhere."" I decided to switch to an all cat Vet who confusedly asked me ""He told you the original bump was benign?"" Basically, the DR failed to read the ENTIRE biopsy report back 4months ago that ACTUALLY stated my cat had cancerous cells. Complete negligence and my cat now has days to live. The oncologist stated that back in the dermal state the canceer could have been treated with great results. Livid.

Dr. Bill diagnosed my dog with heartworm, but one big problem with the standard treatment was that the dog must be kept quiet for a several weeks. My dog was not capable of doing that, and we were afraid we would not be able to treat her. Dr. Bill researched some alternatives and treated her accordingly, she is now free from heartworm and still a happy active member of our family 3 years later.
I have been going to Dr. Cooper now for 7 years. There is not another VET that I would trust with my boxers.
He has taken care of both of them from the time they were born. He has spayed both of them and they both did excellent.
While I was there last week getting my youngest boxer spayed a lady came in with a very sick cat, so sick that the owner was afraid it might die. With-in seconds Dr. Cooper was working with the cat, and about 10 minutes later that cat sat up and started eating. Totally amazing. The cat had low blood sugar and I got to witness Dr. Cooper AT HIS FINEST that day. WAY TO GO!!
I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Cooper and his practice. The staff there are very caring and loving with all animals.
You know I've taken a few pets to St. Francis and I truly wanted to give them the benefit of a doubt, but those receptionist up there are so rude! Everytime I call they act like it was such a inconvienence that I bothered them, their short, cut me off when I'm talking, and give me the run around. I was so frustrated with the service I went to the office manager about it and she just blew it off as her receptionist being busy. Im so disqusted I took my business to Navarre animal hospital and Dr. Sibille and Dr. Gina are amazing.........I love them...........I will never change vets again............if your having the same problem, you should go see Navarre Animal Hospital too!
I think she's got the wrong St. Francis... we are in Charlotte, NC. The place the reviewer is talking about is in FL.
Dr. Cooper and staff are "the best". They are very warm, caring and knowledgeable when it comes to the health of my pets. I have been a satisfied client for over 10 years and would highly recommend St. Francis to all my friends and family.
Sam, Rusty and Cali, thank you for the wonderful care and helping them stay healthy!

All of the staff here is great! This is a small practice where everyone knows and cares about my dog and cat. I have been going here for 5 years, and even though I moved 30 minutes away, I still make the trip there, and wouldn't think of going anywhere else.
