Polished Nail bar (southpark)

Very cool atmosphere, but overpriced for a mediocre job. My gel polish started chipping the following day, a week later half the nails were chipped. They don't usually chip at all for at least a week from other places. Toenail also chipped within first week. This typically takes at least two, often 3 weeks. If you're looking for a cool atmosphere, go here. But, you can get your nails done better and cheaper other places.
A HIDDEN GEM!!
I've been going to this place and have been very pleased with everything!
The ladies are so friendly every time I am there and very accommodating whether I've made an appt over the phone or by just being a walk-in.
The prices are very affordable as one would think since it IS South park.
I love the selection of polishes and also love that they are very progressive and will work with you on any way that you would like your nails done.
My fave is the shellac - not as many choices as the regular polishes but just about every color you could ask for. If I had to rate them, they definitely get....
....TWO THUMBS UP!
With excellent service, friendly staff, and massage chairs which actually massage rather than shake, you can't get a better pedicure in charlotte. 45 minutes of pure bliss in a clean, modern, and pleasant environment. Last week I tried the shellac manicure, rather than my usual buffing. Polish just won't stay on my nails because of the beating they take when I play my cello, but the shellac is staying strong. I'm simply amazed and highly recommend it for those of you who need polish that can't chip. There is no way the techs here would let anyone out of the salon with smudged polish. They seem to obsess over the little details I can't even see. They also keep my brows in great shape, never taking off too much. I tried threading at a mall location once - never again. Polished techs know what they're doing. All in all, I love this place.
This is by far the best nail salon in Charlotte. Walk-in appointments are quickly accommodated and the service is friendly and fun. You can take your pups with you to get your nails done as well! For waxing, definitely see Samon, she is the best, and uses a hypo allergenic wax that doesn't cause any redness or irritation. Book your appointment there today!!!
I am so excited that Polished nail bar just moved into the neighborhood. I have been waiting for something close and a place that is high end . I met with Aylissa the esthetition and she did the most amazing service. I will definately make this my new salon. Thanks POLISHED
i took my wife here for an early mothers day present... a day of pampering! !! An was exactly what she needs was appearance of the shop was bright n vibrant just like the staff and owner!! Found shop on the internet. So wasnt sure about ... but as soon as we walked in knew She be taken care of.. greeted with a pleasnt smile by every one... my wife was impressed with the service and out come! ! Deffinetly be back for repeat business!!!
The people in the salon were not focused. They were laughing at the appearance of other customers. It makes me wonder what they said about me. The lady who attempted to do my nails would not help me pick a color even though I asked for feedback on colors. To top it off my one nail chipped day one. I told my daughter if u leave that slight like at the top it causes chipping. I was right!!!
i came in on saturday to get my pedicure and pink and white fill done. i waited for an hour til i get someone to do my feet. it was going so well til she gave me a massage. if i wanted to rub lotion on myself i can do that at home. i understand the concept, you get what you paid . i waited for an hour just to get a lotion put on my leg. what a disappointment. if u want to spend 25$ on a pedicure with a lotion put on u , then come to polished.
This place was disgusting! I'd got a pedicure/manicure with my sister and the nail tech was acting strange looking around the pedi throne as if there was something there, then come across when we was getting our manicures at the bar when a COCKROACH comes running on the bar table. My sister and I notice there was roaches and broken glass all over the place. Being a bar we understand that there is drinks served but sanitation definitely need to be done. We had our purses sitting down on the ground and my sisters purse had a roach in her bag after our mani/pedi. Told the nail technician and she acted like it was nothing and said its from remodeling the place, but if they remodel shouldn't they also hire a exterminator? My nail tech was rushing to get us out of there I believe she was embarrassed. We will definitely not be coming back here with there poor customer service and disturbing pest control. Good luck to whoever attempts to try this place but I for warn you to hold on to your hand bags....Still wondering how they have awards rewarded to them for best in Charlotte?
sorry but i got to laugh, what so funny is that if there's "broken glass 'all over the place'" how did you guys manage to get out? Your purses are infected with roaches so please take your NONSENSE out of here. i've been to polish since forever & it's been clean. DON'T HATE WHAT YOU DON'T GOT!

I just want to share with everyone that I have the best wedding shower at polished nail bar. I called ahead to schedule this and they were able to accomondate my schedule with all of my girls. They are quick, easy to work with and they deliver what they promise. They even help with storing the wine bottles and treats I have left with them the day before. I thank ipolished for creating the best shower memories and adding to the beautiful moments of my pre-wedding fun!!!
Their environment is high-end, their products are top notched, their staff is friendly and the owner is smart. What more can I say!!! Thank you, thank you, polished nail bar.
iPolished is the best nail spa in town. I love and love this place. I think what distinguishes this place from another is the people who worked there. You don't see a lot of turn over and you can always ask for the same nail tech you have before. Both the nail techs and managers are friendly. They always want to do their best to provide you with the most sincere, competitive and thorough customer services. It is not that I don't smear my nails when drying but they always come back and help me to repair the smear at no charge to me. I can always ask for scrub for my hands and they don't ever say "NO". Every time I visit them for a re-fill, I see other customers smiling, enjoying their mani with their friends or having a blast over a mini celebratory gathering over a glass of wine. The manager always try to accomondate and you will not have to wait long before you are being seated and ask what you needed done. Just customer service alone is worth 10 bright stars. They are a OPI designated seller and the colors they have in Essie is also overwhelming. I highly recommended this to anyone who wants to walk out looking posh, flashy and hot everyday! :)
This salon is not one I would recommend to anyone. You walk in the door and it feels like a cattle call for women. I had a shellac manicure and pedicure and while the young man was nice he did a horrific job. I had no faith it could be fixed by observing other representatives and the work they were doing. I am surprised they have not ended up getting fined, utensils were not being sanitized and other women were not even paying attention.

I felt very at ease getting waxed in areas of my body that could be very uncomfortable (embarrasing). It was relaxing and comfortable. Also, I liked the location, close to the Mall (southpark mall). They even gave me some tips on products to use to make the condition of my skin better (not trying to sell their own products). I highly recommend Polished and Day Spa!
I went to Polished for the first time on 11/21/10 and recieved a fill-in. Let me first start off by saying that the salon is different then your regular nail salons hence (Nail Bar). The man who did my fill-in was very nice but his hand technique was horrible. First off I do not like for my acrylic nails to look thick and that's excactly what happen, then he went on to do my nail polish which he put on too thick and looked lumpy and sloopy, when he finished he told me to let my nails air dry. Huh?! What salon does that?!? They have no nail drying stations, so i had to ASK for a fan or something. So after I sat for awhile about 20 min, my nails still werent dry, this girl i was sitting next to offered me her UV nail dryer after she was done. So my opinion about this place is that the people and their hand techniques are very average but they do offer the newest nail products but after I called around to other nail salons I found they offer the same things they have but at a cheaper cost.( Shellac Nails $45 at Polished and $30 at Dilworth Nail Salon) So if you ask me, i think Polished Nail Bar is a very average nail SALON. The people there are nice but not worth the hype nor the drive. Maybe I'll try their other locations in the near future.

This place is definitely fun and frivolous, but not crazily expensive. I have been addicted to their Shellac Manicure that look and feel like acrylics but don't damage your nails, and they're much cheaper.
The staff are so friendly, and I feel every time I'm there that it's a nice chance to relax and recharge and enjoy some me-time. Truly love the Place..
