They charge for things not on my pizza and refused to fix it until I harrassed them wont get my service anymore
If you want a beautifully made, delicious pizza and fast friendly service... this is the place to go! I just had the Riviera Pizza and it blew my mind away... and not just because i was hungry! The flavors were perfectly synced, the multi-grain crust was thin and light andthe slices were huge. I'm a fan! Thanks to the Original Fuel Pizza on Central in Charlotte, NC!

Provided by CitysearchI read the raving reviews about the quality of the pizza and in the end I was left disappointed. I got a slice of pepperoni and a slice of BBQ chicken pizza ($5.50ish). I used to work in a pizza place serving pizza similar to Fuel's. The pizza slices I got tasted exactly like the pizza we had sitting out on the counter all day (as opposed to the fresh pies). Specifically, the pepperoni slice was pretty hot but nothing to write home about in terms of quality of the sauce and dough. The BBQ chicken slice was luke-warm at best and all I could taste was the BBQ sauce, although there was alot of chicken on it that gave it a good texture. I imagine ordering a whole pie fresh would be much better. There is potential and maybe I got a couple of bad pieces at a slow time of the night (6:30pm) but I was disappointed nonetheless. I should also mention that the people working there were really nice, and I'm sure if I said something they would have made it right. In summary if you go there I would recommend going at a busier time of the day or ordering a fresh pie as opposed to the ones on display by the slice.

Provided by CitysearchI kept getting told how good it was. It's garbage. It's cooked on a conveyer belt. Service is great, but the pizza is just plane garbage.

Provided by CitysearchAs Charlotte has grown, so has the number of pizza places. After hearing how tasty and wonderful Fuel Pizza was by many people and so-called food critics, there was no doubt I salivated with high expectations my way over there. The service was friendly and did well with smiles considering the high volume of customers, but the pizza was disappointingly ??nothing to write home about?. Not that it was bad, it was simply average. There is definitely room for improvement in regard to their pizza sauce.

Provided by CitysearchNew York City without the attitude! This place is clean & friendly! Everyone is welcome! Business people sit next to mechanics, & everyone has fun! The pizza is wonderful, as are all the other items. One question: why wont they franchise? This is too good to keep to themselves!
