This was the worst experience that I've had getting my hair done. I went to get kinky twists and the sign outside had a price, when I went inside they quoted a different price. I said thank you and was leaving and the male said something to the woman laying on the couch ����As I reached the door she said come sit in that chair!! Okkk... she starts my hair and gets a blow dryer and rakes it through my hair like she's ����. She starts the twists and it feels loose. Another woman came to assist and they were extremely tight. As other customers came in they left me sitting there! Needless to say I arrived at 12 and left at 530. The woman that initially started my hair just walks away leaving the other lady to try and fix the mess she created in my hair. The woman called her several times to come back and she ignores her! I notified the lady that my twists in the back were loose and she tried to tell me they weren't! She then called the lady again several times ( whom at this point just seems uninterested) Long story short, I've gotten this style several times prior to this experience and this is the worst I've ever seen!!! I mean to take people's money and you have no idea how to do hair! I am appalled that this "business is still open!! I would never recommend this place and I definitely would never go back!!! And to add it's been two days and my twists are coming out!!! ��������
I have gotten my hair done at Elom's several times. When I got box braids, it pulled my edges out so I had to take the top half out after a month to save whatever edges I had left and get cornrows. Elom's never honors appointments. I had an appointment at 1 and when I arrived she had just sat a new customer in her chair and was preparing to crochet. I had to wait over a hour. This has happened on several occasions and is extremely Unprofessional. They also do not honor the sale prices posted outside of the building. If you request your hair done at that price, they will respond by saying the posters are 3 years old. In most cases, the hair looks good but appointments are set for a reason and should be upheld.
Have been here many times before and also recommended Eloms to friends and family.
Went back to the shop because my first set of braids didn't work. Adele and Bridget did a wonderful job on my box braids. I was there for a while because my hair is THICK and natural but I didn't mind. They made sure I was comfortable and happy. Will definitely return for my next set of braids
I went back to Eloms because my hair (besides how long it took) lasted a couple months and looked nice the first time. This time around my hair is fully natural. From the minute I walked into the shop they made a big deal out of everything. The girls argued over who was to do my hair and they tried to charge me $100 more than paid last time. The whole time the lady (s) were doing they were complaining about my hair texture. They tried to convince me to do another style because of my hair was natural. The lady told me my hair was "too" natural and was coarse (which it is not). And to top it off while they were cleaning up the braids the lady cut my hair. The manager came over to try and convince me otherwise. I did not receive an apology or anything for my negative experience which makes me believe that they knew they were wrong. It has not even been two weeks since my hair was done and the twist are already coming loose. I will NEVER EVER be returning to this place. They do not know how to do natural hair and their work is sloppy. If you don't have straight and wavy natural hair I would advise you to look elsewhere as well.
Hello Tasha, This is so unfortunate that you had this experience at Eloms. In reading your review I see there was a whole lot of incompréhensions while you last visited us. What is even more unfortunate, is that you did not relay your concern while you were in the shop, or leave any feeback on the forms provided. Will not be going back. Normally I have a good experience, and I understand that walks-ins bring in money. But don't you think it is polite to finish with the people who have appointments instead of leaving them in the chair to work on someone else. Not a happy customer and I will not be going back.

Elom is the best she always has worked with my changing schedule..she gets me in on a moments notice .. She is fast and does a fabulous job. I have gotten weaves mainly but over last year I switched to braids and got micros done in 4?hrs because there are two people doing it..You will love tour experience here. Give Elom a call..im telling you she is a lifesaver in the hair game. Fair prices, nice people, clean shop,wonderful experience, look fly when u leave. This is the place to go to ...i promise they will hook u up.
after a "not so pleasant" visit i returned and Elom fixed it herself, I'm very pleased with the professionalism and timely manner my problem was resolved

I am always satisfied when I go to eloms, even when I had 2 inches or hair they gave me an impeccable set of box braids that lasted over a month! Plus, the price is way lower than what I would pay for in other states. And you can get your picture taken at the end! Awesomeness
Second time visiting...1st experience was great. This time $95 for conrows that were spaced and done by non African-u can tell. No im not pleased, it only takes once forme to be dissadissatisfied and I want return.money dnt grow on trees and not too pleased with my child's hair either
