We love Continental Boarding! We have been taking our two dogs here for quite some time now and have never had a bad experience. Our dogs go about once a week and always come home happy and tired. We can always tell that they've had a fun day by the way they are acting when we pick them up. We've tried other doggy daycares in Charlotte and we were not nearly as happy with our experience as we are with Continental. Both play areas for the big and small dogs are the perfect sizes. They have kiddie pools for the dogs to play in when it's hot and they also have an indoor area for when the weather is bad. They know our dog's names and have since the very first day we went in. Our dogs have boarded overnight here a few times and they always have a blast. The only con about Continental is that they don't have webcams so we can watch the dogs while they are there. We really wish they did!! Other than that, we have absolutely nothing bad to say about this place. We love it and so do the dogs!
The people that work here are very unprofessional and false. The young lady helping me actually rolled her eyes when the phone rang and begrudgingly answered it!! I WILL NOT be using this facility again. I do not want to leave my baby with someone who as soon as I turn my back act like he's a burden.

I have boarded my dog here several times and each time the staff knows her name, how shes behaved and has been very helpful.
This past weekend I picked up my dog and realized they had signed her up for two days of playcare instead of the one that I had requested. I offered to pay but they wouldnt hear of it and only charged me for one. Very sweet of them! The owners were there and helping to bring the dogs out to greet all the parents.
My dog always has a blast and comes home exhausted. I have no complaints and would recomend them to anyone who needed a boarding facility!

I own two crazy mutts, and they absolutely love this facility! I drop them off a few days a week to play in their huge grassy field. They get so excited when I turn the corner in my car that I have a hard time keeping them in the back seat! When I pick them up, the staff let them run up to greet you like they haven't seen you in years! When they get home, they are tired and hungry (which is great for my rescue who has a hard time eating/gaining weight). It has also helped them with their socialization skills with other dogs and people. The staff are very informative in letting me know how they do with the other dogs. By the way, if you haven't tried their baths, you should. My dogs come home smelling great for weeks on end! They also offer Canine Good Citizen classes and evaluations; I signed my one dog up for their next class and can't wait to see how she does! I have not used their boarding options yet, but I will in the future if the time arises. Definitely check these guys out!

I took my two boxers to Continental on the advice of my vet and I was glad that I did. When you meet people that care about your dogs you can see that right away. Janelle took the time to find out everything about them (if they like to play outside, how much did they eat, did like milkbone cookies, etc.) and then explained everything about their stay. They got down on the floor with them and really made them feel welcome when we got there. When I picked them up you could tell that they were very happy. They ran right up to me with nubs wagging and looked great. I had taken them to other kennels before when we lived in Texas and that was not how they came home before. Thank you Continental for taking great care of my crazy pair!

My two mutts have been going to continental for years and I have never had a problem!! The staff is terrific. The owner is wonderful!! If your dogs play in playcare expect some scrathces and such...'THEY'RE DOGS! I can promise that the staff is wonderful, the training is wonderful and my dogs LOVE IT!!!! They come home tired and that makes for a great evening. My dogs have also taken classes there, which have made the biggest difference. I moved away from Charlotte and Doggie daycare is one of the main things i miss in Charlotte.
I will no longer be taking my dogs to playcare. The staff completely disregards the southern heat and leaves the dogs outside in the hot sun. The water is not replenished enough and upon inspection, it's dirty and warm. The inside area is not much better. It's hot, poor water and no air conditioning. I'm really looking forward to the opening of the new pet center near the airport.
This review is obviously written by someone that has never been to our facility and is promoting their own business. We have air conditioning with our indoor playcare areas and take the utmost care of our clients while they are here with us. Out water supply for the dogs is constantly filled and our pools for our dogs are constantly filled for their enjoyment. It is sad when a useful tool such as the internet is used against a business in a false manner for someone elses gain. Sincerely, Dave Grindstaff Owner
I've been bringing my mixed breed dog here for close to a year now and I have nothing but great experieces. I bring my dog to playcare during the week which is a blast for her. This is the only facility with natural outdoor playcare, no turf. They are one of the few facilities that have indoor/outdoor runs for the dogs instead of being in a crate like some facilities. This place is better than boarding at a vets office because the dogs have more room to move around and I like that I can bring my dog's bed, toys, rawhides and treats with her. The staff is always very friendly and very dog knowledgeable as well. I'm impressed every time I go there. I wouldn't recommend any other place. They are by far the BEST there is!

We've had great experiences here. Our dogs (2 labs) go there about a one weekend every month or so. They are well taken care of and we've had no problems. They like going and always look well cared for. When I'm on vacation, I don't want to have to call daily to check up on the dogs! I've never had a problem and I love that our animal hospital is right next door! That hospital cared for our cat with cancer for over a year and a half and they all were very caring. It's a great place and the owner is great. I recommend it! As far as the other reviews, it's unfortunate that someone had a bad experience, but like all businesses- you can't please everyone and hopefully they found the right place for themselves. I think it's a great place and there's always big dogs coming and going! You get a sense that any size dog is welcome!

My two dogs love this place. When we go there the owner always remembers them. When we first moved to Charlotte we were driving in from another state and slated to arrive on a Sunday. They actually stayed open late for us to arrive! We had no other place to put the dogs and would have been sunk if not for CB. We have continued to drive out of our way to take our dogs there. The dogs walk right in and love the employees. Our dogs are a bit rambunctious, and have even chewed up one of their beds, but the staff are nothing but friendly and easy going (no charge for the bed!). I like the owners and I like the fact that one of the owners is a vet in case there is an emergency. I also like the big open area that the dogs can run in and play with the other dogs. We have two large dogs and they love this place!
