The staff at this establishment is the rudest most unaccommodating group I have ever witnessed. The girl at the box office was miserable and I felt as if I was inconveniencing her by purchasing my ticket. We proceeded to walk inside and the man (Sean) who was taking tickets very rudely demanded we throw our drinks away and he would not allow us to enter otherwise. Okay-- understandable guy, but why be so nasty about it? So we asked to speak to a manager and he pointed to his supervisor who was sitting behind a desk just beyond the entrance. When we proceeded to approach the man, Sean stopped us and repeated that he could not allow us to enter. At this point I considered getting a refund and leaving, but I decided I wouldn't let some lousy employees who severely lack customer service skills to ruin my night. We threw away our drinks and entered to go speak with the supervisor. As we approached him, he turned his back to us and went through a door marked employees only. Okay-- whatever. We went to the concession stand and got popcorn. The girls behind the counter were friendly enough. On the way to our theatre, we saw a cockroach on the wall next to the drink station- disgusting! The popcorn was flavorless and consisted of mostly seeds and broken pieces. This was the worst movie experience of my life. We will never return to this theatre.
We always go to this theater when we visit our son Michael in Charlotte. It's clean, never over crowded, nice people who work there, popcorn always …
Not from Charlotte, from Colorado. Theater was clean, restrooms clean, and staff was courteous. Was a Tuesday night, so it was not crowded, no lines. Highly recommend!
Prices aren't cheap here, but they have an extremely clean theatre, recently renovated, the most comfortable seats. That said, AMC Concord Mills has better popcorn and Coca-Cola Freestyle Machines though.
The audio was either too loud, or too quiet! On that note, you could always hear the moves in the next theatre over! Always! It was so distracting especially during important moments. The seats were alright, but very uncomfortable for long periods of time and outdated. The service...terrible. The managers could never properly answer any questions, and were too busy on their phones. THEIR PHONES! What kind of theatre is this? The employees were disgruntled and could never provide full service and always got off task talking to each other. This is a horribly run theatre and so professional. Whoever is running this theatre needs to be fired, because they're doing a revolting job.
Although the seats are nice being my first time ever going here I personally will never come back. The movie went out no one came to inform us of anything sat for 20 min still no answer.
Reserved online advanced seating, $6 Tues, bar food + salads (a definite step or more up from movie theater "food"), a boatload of beers on draft (most are local to boot), comfy seating / leather recliners and tray table, awesome HD+ screen, excellent sound, not crowded due to fewer seats (so quieter typically), waiter service.Umm..WHY would I go to any other theater? They've nailed it. Sure, you're still gonna blow $50 at the movies, but at least they are doing everything they can to totally make it worthwhile.
We always go to this theater when we visit our son Michael in Charlotte. It's clean, never over crowded, nice people who work there, popcorn always fresh. A nice family experience all around. Don't forget your Regal Rewards Card...the little perks are nice also! :-)
