I rented the car for my parents and absolutely loved it. Very easy without checking your credit, at time of return we got the cash deposit back. I like how friendly they are.
This is locally owned. The quality of customer service is much better than the chains! Great prices and great selection. I won't rent anywhere else in Charlotte!

If I could rate 0 stars I would. Absolute headache from the beginning. I was involved in an accident and the insurance company paid for my rental for a month and a half. The morning after the last day the insurance covered the vehicle Justin from the office was at my door at 8:30 am with Hunters tow truck company ready to tow the vehicle. No phone call prior to ask if I would like to extend or anything. I explained that I wanted to extend the rental because I needed a little more time and he flat out refused and told me 'No we are taking this vehicle'. If it weren't for me calling his manager at the office he would have had the vehicle towed. I went into the office and extended the rental for another week. When the charge finally cleared it was $100 over what I authorized. Looking over my bank statement I've noticed several unauthorized charges from enterprise totaling over $250 what I authorized and have had to shut down my account for fraud. I have been trying to get this matter cleared up for over a week now. I have sent sever emails to Laurin the office manager with no answer and have made sever calls to corporate where I'm told my issue had been escalated however I have not received one phone call or email back in a weeks time. Not only that but Enterprises customer service leadership team is a joke. No empathy, they cut you off mid sentence, rude and robotic. I am still sitting here a week and a half after my rental was returned with no answers. I will absolutely never rent with Enterprise again and wouldn't refer them to my worst enemy. Customer service is everything and I will definitely rent with a competitor next time.
I was picked up quickly and in and out in less than 15 min. Great service. All of the employees were very friendly.
I was running very late in catching my plane and knew that returning my rental car could cause me to miss it. I pulled up and explained that i was running really late and that i didn't have time to top off the gas. Not only did the return agent tell me to not worry about waiting on them to check in the car, but that he would discount me on the gas that it would take to top off the tank. I made my flight with 5 minutes to spare. I will definitely use Enterprise going forward.
I was supposed to rent a car from this company for 5 weeks. I made the reservation before I flew in to Charlotte NC. When I got off the plane I found out I had to get a shuttle to the site. No big deal. When I got there this company refused to honor the original contract. So there I was stranded. So I rented the car for a week. I called Payless one day before the rental was due to rent it for another week until I could get back to the airport. 5 days later I receive a phone call telling me my return was 5days over due. OMG I am like are you kidding me. I Call the Company and ask what's going on. The Company says the agent did not enter the information in the system. I finally decide I've had enough of this company's lack of customer service. I return the car. They gave me such an expensive bill for two weeks of rental I gaged. Please do not rent from this Company they do not honor their contract and they will leave you stranded.
After renting a car from another company I was angry. I went back to the airport in Charlotte NC, and rented from Enterprise. At first it was flushstrating because I did not have enough money in my card for my complete stay in NC. Due to me being ripped of from another rental place. How ever Enterprise was put my worries at ease they told me I could rent the vehicle for a week and extend it when my week was up. NOT only that they kept the original contract offer. I tell you this company is awesome and I will from now on rent from Enterprise
My experience with this location was very good. The rep was watching for approaching customers and came out of the office to meet me. Walked me down the selection of car and pointed out the ones in the class I had reserved. The total process from my arrival to driving away was less than 5 minutes. When I returned the car a rep was waiting and had the car check in and my receipt printed before I got my coat on. Overall excellent experience, friendly attentive people and well maintained fleet.
We arrived in Charlotte at around 12md on Thanksgiving. We were given a choice of vehicles by our very nice Enterprise rep (sorry I don't remember his name) and we were on the road with directions in a very short time. Great Chevy Traverse as we were up and down the mountains of Asheville. Return was just a pleasant and fast experience.
