"My firm was transitioning over 300 employees within a 90 day period and my corporate office had a major "contract" with a two major outplacement firms. After review, were spending minimal time (2 hours max) with each transitioned employee just to do a resume and sign them on to their website. I requested from my corporate office to use First Sun Consulting at the same contract rate of the other Big Firms. First Sun not only was "on-site" during our exit interviews but spent countless hours for "follow thru". After review I found First Sun had 80% Outcome rate(re-employment) versus less than 50% rate of the Larger Firm!! I would highly recommend First Sun Consulting. Chris, Senior Corporate HR Director P.S. First Sun is also affliated with the largest independent global network, Lincolnshire/Abora International.....which assisted me for outplacement nationwide.

I'm pretty sure the staff is too heavy on the young, good looking, amibtious side and way too light on the knowledge, industry experience, and business savvy side. I'm pretty sure I was told that a job opening had been filled when it hadn't during my interview, probably because I'm over 55. I have ridiculous credentials and should be easy to sell, but believe the culture here, as in many marketing/PR and recruiting agencies, is terrified of us older pros....it's really weird. And incredibly stupid. Guess that our culture, but it's soooo tedious and destructive. Isn't it time they grew up and dealt with staffing on a business need and ROI basis, not age, personality, blahblahblah. Really tired of this BS. Sorry guys...you're cute and nice but imcompetent.
This school has really changed my life for the better. I was a sales associate at AE, which I didn't mind. But I like technology a lot more than selling clothes. I started coming to ECPI back in 2009 and opted for the two year AAS degree. The classes were pretty easy to keep up with, not too much homework. I'm not gonna lie, I did need some help in a few classes (I hate College algebra) but tutoring was always available. Everyone here has one goal, to help the students succeed. Toward the end of the program I had an externship at Azaleos which is where I am currently employed. I highly recommend this school over any other computer/electronics institution in Charlotte.
ECPI was the best choice I have ever made. I started right out of High School and graduated with my AAS in Network Security a little over 2 years later. The staff is very professional, the faculty is top notch. If I needed help, I just asked the professor and he would stay after class and tutor me for as long as it took. I used to be a shift supervisor at Wendy’s, it was no dream job by far. When offered the position to work at a helpdesk, I was nervous about it being my first “IT” job out of college, but it was actually a pretty smooth transition. Attending ECPI has turned my life around and I would recommend it to anyone looking to do the same.
It’s a pretty good school. As long as you stay awake and study it’s a cakewalk. Or at least it was for me. Job placement afterwards, in the IT field, was awesome. Not sure about the medical side as I am a computer whiz. Dave had me an interview setup during my internship. I was finished in June, 2010 and had an IT job less than a month later. I have absolutely no complaints with this place and will recommend it to anyone. PS: the place is SACS accredited, so most or all of your credits transfer. I learned the hard way by trying ITT Tech for a few months.
1 year later and I still love it here! The salary bonuses & benefits are superior to many other employers of the same size & type. The work is not easy, the standards for performance and productivity are set high, this is not the right place for an individual who is not willing to work hard everyday and be held accountable for meeting productivity goals. Career growth is available, my management team is supportive and interested in the growth & development of the associates.
Overall, it's a top-notch school to attend. From a personal level, the school is safe and cozy. So many tools available to you. The school is amazing!
Gwen is very professional and friendly. I have used skin so soft in the past to have an safe bug spray, and would reccomend it!
