Great people to work with!
One of the best decisions we made during my purchase of my home was to hire Julie Tuggle as my real estate agent. Unlike dual agents, she is a buyer…
In 2016, I was house hunting and was a potential buyer on a transaction with Lizette Conover. I made a formal offer with a customary earnest money amount. They countered with an outrageously high earnest money request. It was 4 times the norm that would be customary for the price of the house. This resulted in me questioning the integrity of the request and the house not selling; the transaction fell through. Lizette poorly communicated and negotiated the transaction. Lizette should have known asking for over $12,000 in earnest given the price of the house was highly unusual and unprofessional. I would not recommend Lizette Conover to anyone and would never her again. She was not knowledgeable, not responsive, appreared unintersted in selling the house, and did nothing but ask for a very high earnest money amount. This did me a disservice.

Caroline from Carolina Buyer's Agent really took the time to ensure that I understood the home buying process. This was a crucial part of the that came from purchasing my first home. Caroline's courteous and timely communication was the big factor in ensuring that I was properly prepared for closing and really helped to make my first home purchase a success. I'd recommend Caroline and Carolina Buyer's Agent to anyone looking to make a home purchase.
I went for an interview for a management position. I told them I had a BA in business/hr management. I asked if this was a sales job and/or commission and Angela the "CEO" assured me it was not. I get there as a man was leaving extremely mad for had being tricked into a sales job interview. I told her I drove an hour and was not happy she lied to me. She said excuse me ma'am but I am 100% legal. After researching this company and not finding much I see that they used to be under a different name and had many complaints similar to mine. Stay away!
I thought all Flat Fees were alike and had had a good experience withClickit last year but thought they did not service my current location.Isave taught me differently. So many errors, never could get everything straightened out, could not speak to a human voice, email responses did not cover or correct issues.withdrew listing after2 and a half weeks of frustration and returned to Clickit, poorer but wiser.BEWARE!!
I would like to inform my experience with this person: We meet Mr. Childs on Feb 16th of 2017 when he showed us one house in Mint Hill Area, at the beginning was for rental then we express interest to buy it, after few days he came back to us and told -owner has mortgage problem, but he agreed sell it just after 1 year- meanwhile you should go for rental agreement with intention to buy then we will fix sale agreement, so at this point you have to pay for application fee $75 plus half of the rental amount as security deposit $750 to hold the house for you and he said (don't worry this is refundable if we don't made any deal !!!! so we paid full of amount and after 4 days he was not able to fix the agreement as per our request because he want to make two different agreements one for rent and another to buy and we request just one -rent to buy-. At 27th of Feb when we ask for the -rent to buy- agreement to take a home inspector to the house and get a inspection, he cut of the phone and said if you are not sign rental agreement before to 11 PM tonight (Sunday) you will lose all your payment !!!!and from that day until today he don't answer to our phone calls or our emails and when we talked with owner's house he said, Mr. Childs said him we are not able to buy and he never said receive money from this deal and less got any money from that man as a security deposit, and his advice was -better you guys go to court and make a case for him- so already we are in process to sue him and his company. According with our research this is no the first time that he make this kind of no fair business and also somebody else is making a case for him.Nobody should lose money with such a business style?(Copy of this is submit to NC Real State Commission, complain department.)RegardsNasrin Hashemy
Terrible experience. Dane and Marie did no marketing, no networking, no follow-up on showings with buyers. They did ot fully disclose the full listing details and put in the agent remarks that the house was mostly vacant when in fact I live there. I provided them with a virtual tour with 28 still shots and yet they stated the house was mostly vacant. That is irresponsible on Dane and Marie's part to do this. They were rude to me and my girlfriend. They were impossible to reach. Very unpriofessional and they simply did nothing but list the house on MLS.In response to Mr. Warren's reply. You did not reply to my point about you not disclosing your agent remarks to me. This is not about selling or not. This is about you and your other agent Marie not disclosing your agent remarks to me which is a violation of NC real estate rules. You were telling people that the house is mostly vacant when I sent you 28 stills and a virtual our. You didn't take measurements of the house, which is another violation to potential buyers. Dane, you did nothing but list the house and be rude and impossible to reach after is was listed. You did not negotiate at all and certainly not with potential buyers. You did no marketing. No communicating with buyers. That is not 5 star service. If you think that is, then I don't know what else to say. Good luck with your 5 star business. No thanks, I will pass. Bottom line is I was your boss and I evaluated you. If you're too thin skinned to be evaluated by having to be defensive to every bad review you get then don't be a realtor. You didn't market the house, you didn't follow up with buyers, you didn't negotiate, you didn't do anything to sell the house and you think you did a great job? Well I fired you so you obviously didn't do a good job. Don't kid yourself Dane. You were terrible. Ps I will only believe you on the 68 million in sales for 2015 if that's the figure that you put on your tax return. Care to back up your statement on that figure? Honestly don't know how you stay in business. Good luck with whatever it is you do for a living. You get what you pay for; discount broker that provides no service. I'll stick with the pros from now on.
Renting from My Town Home (MTH) Realty was by far the WORST rental experience I’ve ever had in my entire life, with no close comparison. The property managers were inattentive and the pure definition of slum lords. It began during the showing of the house and move-in when they pulled the bait-n-switch tactic by promising to repair things prior to move-in, but after receiving security deposit, backed off from any promises. It continued throughout the tenancy as the agency were easy to contact when attempting to view the home, but would NEVER (NOT EVEN ONCE) answer our calls once we moved into the home. If we didn’t an email and CC the entire depart, we would not get a response. Their maintenance staff was even worse. There were times when the maintenance guy would simply not show for appointments, and when he did he was late or had an attitude. The agents admitted to not reading the lease in its entirety, and displayed evidence that they only read the lease when attempting avoid maintenance of the unit. MTH did the absolute least they possibly could to support the property or tenant. The only time they attempted to appear to care about me or my condition is when it was time to renew my lease. Needless to say, I DID NOT.
Be sure you know what you are doing before listing with iSave. They charged me an initial MLS listing fee, which went well and was exactly what I expected. The problem arose when they charged me another fee (upfront) to offer negotiation services when the offers came in. I would strongly advise you never to use Lauren for the negotiating. I had numerous complaints from the Buyer's Agent that she was radio silent throughout the entire process. I actually had to negotiate myself and handle all of the details. Lesson learned: never pay upfront for a service. She totally took advantage of us, and she was very short in responses. Never gave us her phone number - only replied via email and would rarely call us.
