The reason is simple, Customer Service, and a job done right the 1st time and same day service. Was I lucky to have dialed the wrong # and get "The TV Shop"!!!! I could not be happier!!!! Brad confirmed my idea what was wrong with my Samsung 52" LCD after researching the problem on the Internet for hours. Only 16 months old and it went out on me. Brad said he had a truck close and would come pick it up and bring it back that evening. WOW, I thought it would take weeks. With in 2 hours the truck was here and gone. Brad called me around 4pm ti inform me it was repaired and the guys were on the way to my home. He told me the 2 caps were blown just as we both thought. There are 4 caps on the board. Not only did they replace the 2 blown caps, but replaced the other 2 with HIGH QUALITY caps rated at higher voltage for good measure as NOT to have that inherent problem that Samsung TV's have. They also ran diagnostics on the other components to make sure no other problems were lurking in the background. That is doing the job right the 1st time folks. "It can take years to gain customers, and only seconds to lose them," Brad and his team at "The TV Shop" know this well. The price was also extremely fair. It was PAINLESS!!!! Our TV's magic focus went out one evening and I looked in the yellow pages for a repair service. I called The TV Shop first and seeing that it was after their normal operating hours I left a message for a call back the next day. In about an hour I received a call from Brian who was most apologetic that they could not get to our home that evening to pick up the TV for repair. He was super knowledgable about my particular TV and seemed to know what was the problem with my TV, despite my "not so good" description of the problem. The next morning at 9 AM two very polite and helpful young men showed up to disconnect my TV and take to their shop for repair, promising to have it back that evening. I kept telling them that if they needed more time it would be OK to keep the TV a little longer...but they INSISTED it would be back that evening. I received another call from Brian who fully explained the problem and said they would also clean up other parts of my projection TV and thoroughly check it out to ensure there were no more problems. ALL was done exactly as he had promised with no additional charges over the original quoted price and the TV was delivered back to us that afternoon around 4 PM...not that's service...service you don't expect and rarely get in this market. This story had a very frustrating start because I called another local Charlotte TV repair company and after six weeks and $90, my TV was still very broken and I was very angry. They said I needed a special part, and it never came in, then they never showed up for scheduled appointments and on and on. Then I made the first smart decision - I called The TV Shop! I called at 4 pm, made an appointment for the following day at 10:30 am. The technician showed up exactly on time, spent less than an hour taking apart my very large and very old Sony TruSurround, and voila - the TV works! Whatever parts were needed, he had in his bag! And while he was here, he figured out why another smaller TV wasn't playing DVDs in color. I am absolutely delighted and I recommend this company without hesitation. If you want your TV repaired promptly and you want honest and dependable customer service, call The TV Shop. I only wish I had known this earlier - so don't make the same mistake I did. Super nice people and easy to get along with. I have a 50'' Plasma that was acting up and I didn't know who to call. I spoke with them at 10 in the morning and they picked it up at noon, very nice. I then received a call at 3 o'clock for my estimate which was nicer, lol. I then proceeded to ask them when they thought they would have it repaired and they asked me if 7pm tonight was to late. It's hard to believe that in this day and time there is a repair shop that truly cares enough to work late for the customer, but believe it or not my daughter was watching Dora the Explorer at 8:30 that night and was extremely happy, thanks again and I in the future if I should ever need tv repair you will be the business I call. These guys are the absolute best electronics repair service that there is. I have used other "recommended" shops in the Charlotte and none have even come close to the service that The TV Shop provides. They came out the day after I called, were prompt and quickly diagnosed & repaired the problem on my Samsung 52" LCD TV. Brad was very nice and exremely professional. He explained the problem to me in terms that I understood. When he handed the the bill I was pleasantly surpirsed at how reasonable their rates were. I HIGHLY recommend The TV Shop for all of your repair & service needs. Don't waste your time or money anywhere else!
I called the tv shop about a problem with my pioneer plasma,he told me what the problem was and told me what part was needed. I asked him to order the part and 2 days later when the part came in,he came to my house 2hrs later and installed the part. Now i'm up and running again. extremely fast,friendly,and courteous service. I will recommend him to anyone and everyone who wants it fixed fast and correctly. Bradley is extremely professional and it's been a pleasure dealing with him.
I never take the time to fill out these surveys but I will take 5 minutes to do it for this company. I called them at 10:30 pm and a gentlemen answered the phone and spent 20 minutes on the phone with me walking me through some troubleshooting methods. They actually fixed my tv over the phone and didn't charge me anything. How do you stay in business, I offered to pay and they said to call them anytime. Believe me, this company is FABULOUS and I will tell all of my friends.
Charlotte Premier TV Repair were better than awesome. I highly recommend this company to everyone, all my friends and everyone I know. Did a great job. Diagnosed, told me everything I needed, gave me a 6 month warranty on repair. Told me about all of their services including wall mounting and home theater and I even scheduled more. Between Wall mounting and TV repair I usually enjoy quality home theater. They were awesome. Highly recommend this company.
I NEEDED A NEW LAMP FOR MY DLP T.V. THAT I BOUGHT FROM BEST BUY 3-4 YEARS AGO AND AS BIG OF A COMPANY AS THEY ARE THEY DID NOT STOCK DLP LAMPS AND I NEEDED IT ASAP FOR SPORTING EVENT PARTY I HAD BEEN PLANNING FOR WEEKS AND AFTER CALLING MANY DIFFERENT STORES AND SHOPS "THE TV SHOP" HAD ONE CAME OUT INSTALLED IT AND ALL FOR ME. NEEDLESS TO SAY MY PARTY WAS A SUCCESS. I CAN NOT RECOMMEND THIS SHOP ENOUGH. 5 STARS FROM ME !!!!!
Had to buy a new lamp for our Samsung. Called The TV Shop and 30 minutes later he met us at a Burger King close to our home with a new lamp. He even put the new bulb in the housing for us for NO extra charge!! Our TV was up and running 20 minutes later. Easy to deal with and really convenient. Highly recommended. If we have any other TV issues down the road, we'll be calling The TV Shop. Thanks for the great service!!
