At first, I was relieved that I had found a dr that seemed informative and easy to understand. I then returned for a visit that I ended up crying as soon as I got outside the office door. Dr Ladd is very condescending. She treats you as if you are a hypochondriac. Is it not the reason to schedule a dr visit in the first place, to talk in confidence about what is ailing you? I answered questions to the best of my ability, in hopes that my doctor would help me figure out possible solutions, or at least eliminate certain possibilities that could in turn affect my health, and she argued and plainly disregarded my feelings. Is this a service for which she is paid? I then needed a prescription for thyroid meds ( not controlled substance of any kind), as my thyroid gland was removed and I only need it to live.... She wouldn't even call me back herself! Some other dr I've never met called me and said to have someone else do it since I had a diff dr look at my records of some tests that were previously run. I thought it was good practice to get 2nd opinions??!!??
