Fabulous, thoughtful, caring vet clinic. I needed to take a moment today and acknowledge how wonderful this clinic is in every way. I am almost 8 months pregnant with a cat allergy/asthma and we recently purchased our first house from a kind woman who fed stray cats. I found myself in a situation with a sweet orange tabby who I have decided to adopt. From the moment my husband and I brought CC to the Vet clinic, the staff has been so caring and so incredibly patient with me. I've never been responsible for a kitty (especially a 5 year old with FIV and skin allergies) and I have had SO many questions. During our visit, they were wonderful to us and our little cat. Since then, every single time I've called in a panic about an issue, they have taken a great deal of time to talk with me, reassure me, and educate me. I love animals and could not have rescued this little cat without their help and love, especially in these few months before welcoming our first baby. I am grateful that CC has such great care... and I do to. Much love WAVC! The Rices PS. A special shout out to Dr. Tierney, Landry, and Lauren.
I am really glad I changed vets to Bees Ferry. Over the top care for my dog, Ali, the staff is fantastic and the Dr. took the time to explain everything, which really makes a difference and gives me reassurance of the thoroughness of her exam, professionalism and expertise. This is a great place and happy to find it after just moving to Summerville.
I highly recommend this place. They are very compassionate and passionate about their job and how they treat each and every client and patient!
Angie is AWESOME!!!!!! she does a wonderful job and so do the vet techs.
Dr. Southard and his staff are kind, friendly, compassionate and knowledgable. My JRTs, Jake & Chloe have been going to this vet clinic since we moved to Charleston 5 years ago. I have placed my trust in Dr. Southard Sr. & Dr. Southard Jr. & their staff to take care of my 4 legged babies who are now in their senior years. I have never been disappointed!
Dr. Jefferson did a great job of taking care of my pet. The people are very nice and professional. I would recommend this place to anyone.
Terrible!! I asked to do a reduced vaccine schedule. I wanted only one shot and specifically NOT Rabies until she was older. Before I even knew what was happening the vet whisks in, nonstop talking, and gives my pup several shots INCLUDING Rabies!!! Then they had the NERVE to schedule an appointment for my pup to be spayed the very next month when I said I wanted to wait till closer to two years old! My pup's only three months old! $178 for a visit where I wanted ONE shot!!! Absolutely no acknowledgement of my disdain. They ignored and dismissed everything I said.
I would highly recommend this veterinary clinic. We are visiting and I brought my 11 year old springer spaniel. She has been been very painful in her legs and joints, but today she started limping and toe touching. I wasn't sure if I should call my vacation short, or try a vet in the area. I called and even though they were booked on this Saturday, the Dr. agreed to see us and we went right in. They were so nice and made us feel as if we were long time clients. Thank goodness it wasn't anything major. Dr. McCullers was very informative, and reassured me that if we changed our diet and add some supplements, and pain meds, he feels things will get better soon. I felt their prices were reasonable and in line with our vet at home. We would like to thank them for working us in and helping my stress level decrease. Unfortunately no chasing birds on the beach this weekend for my girl, but that's ok as long as she feels better soon. I would highly recommend this practice have as our own if we lived in the area. Thanks again Dr McCullers and staff!
I first went to Patrick Veterianry Clinic several years ago. It was recommended to me by several persons. All the services I have ever needed and received there were routine, so I cannot say that there are any shortcomings in the treatment of animals. However, one of the persons that originally recommended this place to me had a dog that got sick and a couple of days later it died. He has for ever blamed Patrick's for it, but I cannot be certain that Patrick's is at fault. However, another person who often took her dog to Patrick's went elsewhere when he dog needed an operation. My conlcusion is that Patrick's might be good--and inexpensive--for general assistance of no major consequence, but it one's pet needs special treatment, this might not be the place. One thing, tho, a few months back I asked about cleaning my dog's teeth, and I was told that these were fine. However, recently I noticed that my dog's teeth have gotten much worse. Now, I get this doubt that maybe they didn't want to boether with it.Also, the place is always very crowded. Ther is little space for parking and the facilities are small and pack with people. I am thinking I might be better off trying to fine another place.
