Worst experience I have ever had at a doctors office. Better screening of maturity and demeanor of employees would be beneficial.

Dr. W. is the best ~ I've been her patient since 2009 and we've always had excellent rapport (she loves to see the newest pics of my grandsons every time I come in.) I hope to continue my association with her for years to come!

The Urgent Care is far from Urgent. I found this place when calling Dr.s Express. Dr.s Express must have gone out of business because I reached West Ashley family medicine and urgent care instead. They gave me directions to their "new" location. This is NOT Dr.s Express. If you are looking for Dr.s Express go to Doctors Care instead we spent far too long waiting for a doctor who was very lack luster.

This place is awesome. Yeah, Dr. Bates isn't the greatest but the other doctors are amazing! After I'd been dismissed and ignored by other docs they took the time to dig deeper with my condition and diagnosed me with something that had been overlooked and now that they're caring for me it's gotten 1000xs better! My main doctor is Dr. Scurry, but they're all pretty awesome.

this place is is horrible. Im sure some doctors are nice but Dr. Bates is really bad. gave the wrong medication one time and it gave me a panic attack. Told him another medication made me not want to eat at all and he said "you only need one meal a day, as long as you eat 2500 cal in that meal"........ really, your advice is to eat one meal a day. On top of that its your standard "come in at 2, wait until 3 to see a doctor, get out at 310, and then pay $100. Keep looking, there are better places around than this.

I read the other review and I agree that a lot of things needed to change back then. They really have changed everything in this office. I've been going to Dr.Bates regularly for the past 13 years. The office itself has had its ups and downs, but I believe they really have it together now. Throughout all the changes, one thing has remained a constant for me. Dr Bates has taken great care of me and I know that I can trust him and that I am in good hands. He's the first and only doctor that truly listened to me. So many other doctors just want to push you into a specialists office and not worry about what they can do for you instead. I appreciate all the care I have been given from Dr Bates and his staff. My wait time has been reduced from about 40 mins to about 15 minutes in the past 3 years. This office is worth trying again, if you've had bad experiences in the past...
