Kickin Chickin in Charleston, SC

We just spent over 500.00 at Charleston crab house because the waiter at Macs told us he didn't have time to take our order. Had a big attitude. We had party of 18 and the crab house took care if us immediately. Mac get your act together or get out of the business. Too bad I can't give you a -5!

Amazing! A must go to restaurant in Charleston! All of the main entrees are great but I prefer the lamb rack.

Good burgers. You get a good sized burger and sided for a respectable price. The location is great with some small stores to do lite shopping if you choose.

I've eaten here several times and every experience is wonderful. Any time a friend/family came to visit me in Charleston, I always brought them here. Everyone was very impressed with the food preparation and flavors.The food is so delicious. They prepare their protein to perfection. Their ingredients are unique, the chef knows what he's doing because all the flavors always compliment each other. I've never had something I didn't love here. I would highly recommend eating here, you won't be disappointed. This is a small restaurant so I would suggest making a reservation, especially if it's during the weekend. The staff is friendly, helpful and knowledgable. They all know the menu really well because I've never had any waiter go ask another person if they didn't know the answer to my questions. The restaurant is casual-upscale. The bar area is small, there is small bench to sit on if you have to wait. There is off street parking but it's very difficult to find because it's very congested in this part of downtown Charleston. There is a parking ramp a block away from here.

Visited this place while in Charleston. Drinks are really good. But we arrived around 7:30 and our waitress never said anything prior to let us know. Around 9:00pm a big bouncer guy walks up to our table an says u need to remove ur hat sir. My husband asked him what he said remove your hat thanks. My husband said I'm not removing my hat get my check and I will leave. The waitress walked back by and I asked her is their a policy regarding removing ur hat past 8pm she said yes, it's company Pliny. Then the bouncer returned cause of course my husband was not going to remove his hat under no circumstance the bouncer starts calling my husband names like douchbage and jerk I said what can u explain Toni's why he needs to remove his hat is there a sign that states that. He said actually there is it was so very small no tourist would have seen it it was already 9pm when they guy approached us. We get up to leave he continues to name call at my husband so rude could have been a little nicer and explained before he acted like that towards us. Then he yells well maybe we can do that to y'all in Texas. I have news buddy you act like that in Texas someone will whip your behind. Drinks are good on a hot day but staff so rude and non explaining if company policy he could have explained it!

Great service, beautiful view. We ordered the triple meat 10" and cheese garlic bread. Awesome! Can't wait to come back. Thanks so much!

This is my father's restaurant. I've eaten here more than most anyone else, and can say even with my unbiased opinion that the food is always wonderful (even if I weren't my father's son and just came to this restaurant, I would still love it. The food is unusually good and truly special). I've tried every single thing on the menu and can say for sure that everything is delicious, and nothing on the menu is not worth trying. I'm not alone--I have heard countless times over the last ten years from people I meet, "Y'all own Olympik? I love the food there. You guys have really great food." My dad moved to a new location in November 2012 and it is much nicer than the old location; I am sharing this here for those who are only familiar with the old Olympik Restaurant and Bakery. A new feature in our restaurant are digital photo frames featuring over a thousand beautiful scenic photos that make the dining experience even more pleasant. We also have great deserts.

This Huddle House has the worst service I have ever witnessed. I felt so bad for the customer who was yelled at in front of everyone, because the manager was having a bad day. This lady was about to leave and out of nowhere, the manager gets in her face. I go there often, but I think that was the last straw. In the past, I seen the cook with long brown hair cuss at the manager in front of all the customers.

Cool little bar with big patio and fire pit in back. Great island food at cheap prices. Looks like a gas station...cause it used to be one. Bigger inside and in back then you would think. Friendly staff, definately a chill place to go and relax or get a ...little... wild.Right next to Hominy Grits and Lana...Parking is a problem, so show early.

The review WatchfulMom wrote is a complete lie. I believe she has personal issues with the owners. So please do not take her word for anything he or she said about this place. I am not downing or disrespecting her or him, I just dont think it is right to give a bad review to a company, when your problem with them is not the food at all. So with that being said. The Oriental Cuisine is by far the BEST restaurant is that type of genre of food. You know it might even be in its own genre of style. The people who own and run the place are Filipino and so all the food has a pacific islander taste, with an Americanized taste as well. There employees are all family, and it really gives you an "at home" feeling while you are eating there.So in conclusion to my review, hands down one of the best restaurants ( out of all restaurants, not just Oriental places.) I have ever been too. I would recommend this place to anyone wanting excellent food. Also for the people who have small lunch breaks, the Oriental Cuisine has great prices and awesome lunch specials, that do not take long for those people in a hurry.
