Good food, place is clean. Full bar which is always a plus. I usually get the enchiladas and fajitas, chicken or steak, both are good.

So, sad to say it was bad, bad, and more bad when we visited. The food tasted burnt, every course. I am Sicilian. Raised in New York, summers with family in Sicily. I have been culinary school. From the stock of chefs. Even married one. This is not like any Italian food I've ever had. The sauce tasted like it came from the can. The prosciutto was nothing more than deli ham. The meat was overcooked, rubbery. The ambience left a bit to be desired. It was so dark we could barely see. It also smells like grease in the entire place, restrooms included. We brought to attention to things that weren't that great to the waitress, but she didn't seem too concerned. She was actually pretty crass about it. This isn't the worst place I've ever had a talion, but it certainly isn't the best. I'm guessing it's some southern take on Italian? No matter what it is, it certainly wasn't that good. Sad, I had hoped we would have an enjoyable evening.
Any time day or night I can always find great company at the "TAV"
Pizza is great. Service, pretty good. Very clean & nicely designed. Will definitely dine there again.
Visited this place while in Charleston. Drinks are really good. But we arrived around 7:30 and our waitress never said anything prior to let us know. Around 9:00pm a big bouncer guy walks up to our table an says u need to remove ur hat sir. My husband asked him what he said remove your hat thanks. My husband said I'm not removing my hat get my check and I will leave. The waitress walked back by and I asked her is their a policy regarding removing ur hat past 8pm she said yes, it's company Pliny. Then the bouncer returned cause of course my husband was not going to remove his hat under no circumstance the bouncer starts calling my husband names like douchbage and jerk I said what can u explain Toni's why he needs to remove his hat is there a sign that states that. He said actually there is it was so very small no tourist would have seen it it was already 9pm when they guy approached us. We get up to leave he continues to name call at my husband so rude could have been a little nicer and explained before he acted like that towards us. Then he yells well maybe we can do that to y'all in Texas. I have news buddy you act like that in Texas someone will whip your behind. Drinks are good on a hot day but staff so rude and non explaining if company policy he could have explained it!
We were seated at 3PM on a Sunday and know one came by to take our order. It was as if we weren't sitting there. The place wasn't busy so there was no excuse for this. We left and will never return again.
Sorry but I have had great Italian Food and this just didn't impress...Limited seating...Limited portions...Not short on price though!!!Don't mind paying for good food or quantity but this misses the mark...PS... May be the owner out meeting and greeting but he needs to get the order correct over being cute.
Has to be the best pizza in the south. The tomatoes are fresh, the cheese is real and the crust is crispy. Toppings are anything you can imagine and fresh as well. The overall Italian menu is authentic, tasty and reasonably priced. It makes me happy that it's a little out of the way, because the wait is minimal to none and delivery is prompt. The zeppolas are nearly as tasty as grandma's and the service is friendly without being intrusive. This is a wonderful little place.
I love south of philly. I've only ever got their pizza (which is incredible) but today I got a salad with grilled chicken, quite honestly the best salad I've ever had! And the monkey zepps...that caramel tho!
Ate there twice never will again crust hard pizza no flavor
