We found this medical practice to be exactly what we didn't want. There was Rude, uncaring behavior with little concern for the patients. When they get upset they will just refuse to refill your medications, it dosen't matter if they are for life threating illness or not!! My personal opinion is that the true intrest here is for the $$ and not the patients. Any Doctor who will refuse to refill a Medicaid patients medications knowing it's more difficult for them to switch physicians than for those who are not receiving medicaid dosen't care for their patients. If their practice is being paid by Medicaid/Medicare and they are often charging a $ 95.00 per person additional trip charge they should be willing and concerned enough to ensure the patient dosen't have a stroke from hypertension or worse from diabetes,or some other equally scarry condition. This practice has NO PROBLEM letting you go without your medications if they are upset with you ,will make NO EFFORT WHAT SO EVER TO HELP YOU GET IT!!! Before you choose this practice especially if you are receiving Medicaid be SURE you have an immediate back up physician willing to see you now and wait until you can get your card changed by Medicaid to get paid ,otherwise you may be in a life threating situation with NO HELP. You can not depend on DMHC to help you. When you miss an appointment or when their staff messes up the schedule (and it will be your fault) you will be out with NO DOCTOR regardless of your condition. Convenience is not worth sacrificing your life!!!!!

While my mother has had some pretty good physicians over the years, Dr Taavoni is by far the best & her favorite.( has served as my mother's primary doctor since 2004) She has a warm, bedside manner, really listens and is extremely thorough. This doctor goes the extra mile in double checking symptoms & being proactive. She treats her patients with dignity & spends a substantial amount of quality time toward their care. (both during check-ups & critical follow up after the office or home visit) Because of her keen observation-concern & swift action, she has been instrumental in helping to reduce some life threatening situations for my mother. Your time is respected & appointment times are honored, with patients rarely having to wait. Although this doctor maintains a busy schedule, appointments are not difficult to get & she ""bends over backward"" to work her patients in if unexpected situations develop where they need to be seen immediately. If you're looking for a really good general practitioner, I recommend Dr Taavoni without hesitation.
