Skylight Repair/Replacement
We talked to many contractors about this job, but only Heidorn’s estimator climbed on the roof, to make sure they could work around our existing skylights. He also showed us a screened room they had built. Tim worked with us, giving us ideas on how to better use our space, but still keeping with our original design. The project got off to a slow start due to the wet weather we had last winter. However, once the weather cleared up, they were here working on our project. From laying the rock under the deck to installing the screens and reseeding the lawn, everything was done with care. Steve, the owner, came on site every week to check the progress. We had easy access to him for any questions or concerns. They took care of keeping us posted as to when each part would be done, and even scheduling with Bassmeiers to bring out the hot tub. He said we’d be sitting on the porch in early spring and we were!

New Construction
Heidorn Construction was started as a small family business in Boonville, IN around 1974 by a father and son team, Robert and Steve Heidorn. In the beginning their focus was on new home construction and later turned to existing home repair and remodeling. In 1978 Steve and his wife Chris bought Robert’s share and continued the family business. That same desire to create quality work that Steve and his father started back in 1974 still exists within the company after 40 years.

They have done a variety of work for us; roofing, remodeled doorways, remodeled gutter, and other things. They are our go-to remodeling company. Their price is higher than the normal but worth the price when it comes to the product of the service and the result. The owner, Steve Heidorn, believes in doing a good job and ensures that the job is done right and on time. He personally comes and checks everything so they can be trusted to do the job right. I’m always comfortable with their work.
