I recently signed up with a Vimtrim trainer (Tyler) at The Liv. New residents get two free personal training sessions, so I decided to give it a try. I was a little cautious at first because personal trainers I had come across in the past usually seemed more interested in getting to their next workout or had trouble "taking it down" to a beginner's level. But, Tyler was different. He carefully listened to what my goals were, made eye contact, and seemed genuinely interested in helping me get on the right track. I have a chronic arthritis condition in my lower back, and soon after our first session, I got hit with a baseball on my elbow. Tyler was careful to tailor the exercises we did to safely deal with those situations. He also helped me start tracking what I eat, and gave some great recommendations on how to adjust my eating habits to help me achieve my goals.I was in pretty bad shape when I started with Tyler, both physically and mentally, but I was motivated to make a change in my life - for me. Tyler has helped me a lot, and has helped to keep me accountable to keep at it. I have lost nearly 40 lbs so far, and plan to keep it up. I probably would have failed and given up long ago if I had not chosen to make this investment in myself.

Tiffany gets plus 5 stars!!! Love her. She has exceeded my expectations in so many ways. Not only is she incredibly skilled and knowledgeable, she is also very down to earth and fun. Tiffany knows whats she's doing, and she does it well- with grace and a smile. She IS tough on you, and constantly makes you sweat but its worth it. She is very intuitive- just the right amount of push and pull to get you in the shape you want!She always brings something new on table. She is so much into combination exercises which really helps as you work on more muscle group in same time.She has a wonderful way of interpreting what I need (and when I need it) without intimidation or any judgement. Chris has been training me for over a year now. Before I started personal training with Chris I had injured my shoulder wake boarding. My massage therapist recommended Vimtrim because of their experience working with injury's. It was recommended I work with Chris, who is the owner, with over 18 years of experience. I truly appreciate his experience, and how attentive he is to detail. He would consistently ask how I'm feeling and adjust the workout accordingly. Chris worked with me for a little more than 6 months and I was fully recovered from my injury. Since then he has continued to work on my overall strength and stability (and help with my other self inflicted injury's) I would highly recommend Chris and Vimtrim to anyone.
I have been working out with John Turose for about 3 months, it has become my favorite 2 hours of the week! John is working with me on healing old injuries, strengthening muscles after surgery, improving posture, and eating properly. I have lost @25 lbs, but even better than that, my muscle % has been increasing and my fat % decreasing and I am losing inches! I feel great - I am so glad that I signed up to train with John, it is one of the best decisions I have ever made. I highly recommend John and Vimtrim - he encourages me and gets me through even when I don't think I can actually keep going, and he is amazing at modifying exercises or finding new ones if one we try doesn't work well for me. Pretty good indeed. Every morning, Julie does the class and keep us motivated pushing through all the different stations ranging from kettle bell lifting, to plyometric and kickboxing. Alternating days between lower, upper and full body work out makes sure that all your muscle are worked on. Be warned though, make sure that you commit to your goals if you end up trying this gym as Julie is teaching all the classes, she'll know if you are here or not. I like the fact that the number of people in classes is small enough that you can know or recognize everyone quickly. They offer some other services that I haven't tried yet like personal training. All in all I would recommend S-cape fitness.
I have been training with Tiffany for several months now and she has been exceptional. I have gotten fitter, lost weight, and had fun doing it. She always shows up full of positive energy ready to pump you up. She has also put me in touch with others with similar fitness goals and interests thereby having a positive impact on my health and fitness beyond our individual and group training sessions. I would strongly recommend her to any of my friends, and if the rest of the Vimtrim team is half as good, I would not hesitate to recommend Vimtrim to any of my friends either. Awesome trainer.
Outstanding personal training! I'm training with Steven Rathbun 3 times per week at the Ray location. Steve is very knowledgeable in all the current health plans and training methods and has helped me jump start my conditioning program after a 20 year (yes.. you read that right.. 20!) workout hiatus. I feel better physically and mentally than I have in years and I'm beginning to see muscle returning and the body shifting back to a more healthy look. Top of the line equipment, top of the line trainers, top of the line methods.. CAN'T FAIL!! Thanks VimTrim!
When I initially met with Chris (the owner) to talk about personal training, it was obvious he had tremendous knowledge, experience, and enthusiasm. After I decided to purchase sessions, Chris paired me with his trainer Tyler. Tyler is great and really knows his stuff. He truly wants his clients to succeed. His workouts are tailored to me and he is patient and responsive to my abilities, making modifications if necessary. I always feel better after training with him. Needless to say, I’m stronger, more energetic, and feel better than I have in years.
I started working with Tiffany from VimTrim about 3 months ago shortly after being diagnosed with diabetes. Personal fitness is important in treating diabetes to reduce insulin resistance. I had not been in shape for many years prior. Tiffany has been great. She is always very positive and encouraging. We discussed at our first meeting my goals and health issues. She has been working with me to get into shape, tracking my progress including fat percents. They have peoples best interest at heart and I highly recommend them for whatever your needs are.
I would like to share a few words about my experience with Trainer Karen she is great and very personal she took the time to learn of my physical level and developed a program that resulted in great results for me. She is very passionate in her approach and displayed excellent knowledge of her craft. I really enjoyed having her work with me.
