Unlike the other reviewer, I had great experiences with Dr. todd and his staff and wish I could find a vet just as good now that I'm back home in Hawaii.
I took my baby Yorkie to Pet Pro for her first 2 years and she was always well treated. Dr. Todd took the time to answer all of my questions, which was quite a bit since I was prepping her to meet Hawaii's strict quarantine requirements. She had to have her blood test sent to a specific lab in some other state and her rabies vaccines timed to meet my move dates and Hawaii law. The prices were so good that I took them for granted until I moved to Texas and later Hawaii. I paid more in the 1 year I was in Texas than I did in the 2 years I spent on her in Illinois, even with all the extra puppy vaccinations and rabies immunization prep combined. Also, after I left Illinois and needed my baby's records to provide to Hawaii animal quarantine, Dr. Todd and his staff were very accomodating, mailing me everything I needed and providing me with the additional ""originals"" that I needed in an expeditious fashion.
I wish other vets had as an accomodating office and family environment.
I have been to both the Champaign and Mahomet locations. Both are disgusting! The clinics stink! Dr. Todd is always late or forgetting appts. He is always out of medications. What kind of vet runs out of medications? He claims his physical exam is included in the price of his vaccines. He doesn't even examine the dog. He acts like he's afraid of him. He now has this receptionist who sits at the front desk and bellows at coworkers to get things for her. Very unprofessional mess! I would never suggest this place to anyone. I am appauled that I ever took my pet to this place. Never again!

I was satisfied when visits were routine (shot and check-up). The cost was higher than others were, but the location was convenient. However, when my dog needed treatment starting this past summer, problems began. I paid a tremendous amount of money for a full battery of tests as recommended, but received virtually no consultation from Dr. Todd or staff. A few months later after suffering the stress and fear of having my dog put to sleep, a friend informed me there was medication to treat the problem. After calling the office they offered a sample to try her on, which I was later charged a large amount for.
I overlooked things, for a long time, but over time realized the office had completely undermined my trust in them. I was also overcharged and inconvenienced. I’ve started with a new Vet and things are very different. The same medication was virtually half the price, I received significant consultation and face time with the Vet, advice, and so forth.
