First off, it appears that the low star reviews previously posted had issues with the store, not the pharmacy, yet they vented their frustrations here - go figure.This pharmacy has, hands down, the VERY BEST staff that I've ever encountered (in decades of using pharmacies). They are nice, personable, professional, and are fantastic at finding discounts, special codes, etc. to keep the prices down. When I didn't have health insurance & was quoted $220+/month for the Rx at Walgreens, this Sam's Club pharmacy staff was able to use codes, club discounts, etc. to get me the identical Rx for less than $80/month.By law, you do not need to be a Sam's Club member to use the pharmacy, so check them out if you need help with your meds. You'll likely find that additional discounts are possible with membership (depends on the level), but they'll help you figure that out. For instance- I upgraded to Sam's Plus ($100/year). I wouldn't have necessarily done that, but discovered that a new Rx prescribed by my doctor would cost $96/year out of pocket with my insurance, but was FREE/year as one of the free Rxs available to Sam's Plus members. So - for $4/year (33 cents extra per month), I get the same Rx PLUS all of the club-wide benefits, discounts, etc. with a Sam's Plus membership, further saving me money. A pretty easy decision, and this Sam's Club pharmacy staff helped me to figure this out.Love them!!
"ONE STAR" IS TOO HIGH OF A RATING!! ***** WARNING******I would like to report a robbery! The Sam's Club store in Champaign, IL stole $68.49 out of my checking account via a debit card that was inadvertently slid through their credit card machine but was never authorized with my signature nor was it ever authorized with my debit card PIN. After being denied any receipt or paperwork of this underhanded transaction, I walked out of the store upset, distraught and without any merchandise and somehow convinced by the management that Sam's Club had not removed money from my bank checking account. I have returned to the store everyday since this transaction occurred - yet NO ONE there seems concerned in the least and I am repeated told that somehow this whole thing is MY FAULT?!? I have repeatedly asked for receipts of the "transaction" and the stores management has denied each time - though they have shown me information on these papers - they are still unwilling to even let me have ANY copies; I have been denied ever seeing the videotape surveillance of me standing at the cash register - though the management has reviewed these images and reassured me that this entire thing is totally my fault; I have been denied the merchandise that I supposedly "purchased"; I have in my possession little or no evidence that I was ever in their store on the day they these thieves robbed me of my debit card number and removed money from my checking account WITHOUT MY AUTHORIZATION! ... I have reported this robbery to Sam's Club (corporate) Customer Service and still have heard nothing back from them! Yesterday I filed a former claim against Sam's Club with the the Better Business Beuro and am currently waiting on a response.
