We went in here last night because we wanted something decently priced, and quick...also wanted to try their new naked chalupa. We ended up asking for our refund after 25min of waiting. They got backed up with orders after we placed ours. People were coming in from drive through bec their orders got messed up. After the fact we found out our order got given to the guy who ordered after us. We both work in the service industry so we understand if a place is short staffed or busy, especially if it's a fast food paying minimum wage to employees. Now my issue was mostly the back and forth bickering and yelling that went on between the staff. I was surprised no one in the kitchen staff got into a physical altercation. You could hear the yelling in the entire building, accompanied by slamming sound effects. One employee almost even walked out after some dramatics. We asked for a refund, because after a long day at work--that is the last thing I wanted to hear, is people being immature, unprofessional and that hostile. I also felt unsure about these people handling our food. Never going here again.
This is the worst burger king ever! I will never go back I don't know how they are still in business truthfully. A bunch of incompetent people work here they play around all the time constantly get the order wrong and if that fails they don't have half the crap on the menu. Its pathetic. I can vow for everybody I know that lives in chalmette that is truly disgusted with the service we get. I don't even think corporate cares.
Lobby is never open, the customer service number is convientaly scratched off of the door. I sent a picture of it to corporate.
On 2/27/2015 for lunch,in the drive thru of Hardee's,8400 W. Judge Perez Dr., Chalmette, LA 70043, I saw a sign, HOT DOG COMBO for $2.89. I ordered it & at the window when I tried paying that amount, I was told that it wasn't that amount...it was higher...close to $5.00. I said to the cashier that your sign clearly states ..COMBO...$2.89. I said, "That's false advertisement"; I wanted the manager to know so I put my truck in park right there and went into the store to ask the manager about their sign. I encountered a lady to whom I told I was going to report their sign to BBB for false advertisement and she said that it wasn't false advertisement...that their sign means "the sandwich only."I said, "Well your sign says nothing about "sandwich only, it states it's for the combo." I then asked her to come outside to look at the sign to see what I was talking about..simply SHE REFUSED. I then asked to speak to the manager and the lady to whom I was speaking WAS the manager. So, I asked for her name and I asked for the owner's name and phone number. The manager, Melinda, who refused to give me her last name when I asked for it also refused to give me the owner's name or phone number. I told Melinda that I thought that the owner should know that the company's sign is misleading and that I wanted to speak with the owner about this sign. Melinda kept saying..."that's not the price....the sign is for the sandwich only." She told me to get my truck out of her driveway before she called the St. Bernard Parish police. I told her to call them...I didn't think it was right for them to advertise one price and then the price change when you get to the window. The St. Bernard police did come, asked me to move my truck out of their driveway and then I showed HIM what I was talking about....he AGREED with me and then told the manager, Melinda, that the sign clearly states "combo for $2.89" and that they might want to change that...he also informed me that he couldn't make them give me the hot dog COMBO for $2.89. The point is that I was not seeing something that was not there....I had a St. Bernard policeman, a man of the law, see the same as I. He also told me that I could obtain the owner's name at the permits office, which is next step.
