Our dog was killed in Christmas morning by a Pitt bull here. Calli is very sad and it was an accident but that doesn’t bring our dog back.
Camp BowWow is wonderful. After my dog had a difficult experience elsewhere, I was nervous about doggie-day care. I had nothing to worry about at Bo…

Very Disappointed!I called them to make a reservation for December 2012. We are doing a road trip from Florida to Texas and stopping in New Orleans for two days. I called to make a reservation and they said they need an interview done at least a day before the dog can stay. When I tell her that we arrive that day and we cannot go the day before since we will not be in New Orleans she says that for the holidays they may be completely booked. Then she says that the dog can be interviewed in Florida and they can transfer the paperwork. Seemed that that was going to work out. I told her ok let’s make the appointment then. She said the appointment can only be made after the interview is done….UHHH excuse me? That doesn’t make any sense…she is telling me that they will be booked but then she doesn’t want to make an appointment for my dog? The whole process doesn’t make sense. My dog is a Maltese used to travel in airplanes, hotels, boarding in many places. She gets along with all kind of pets and I told her this. I will be telling this to all my friends that own pets.

Stopped in to check out harnesses for my dog. The girl that was working was extremely helpful and fitted each harness I was interested on my dog. She swore by one that connected in two places, I thought it would be too much work, but she put it on, showed me how(it turned out to be quite simple), and when I tried walking my dog around I was sold. She even stood across the store with a treat to really get him to pull and I couldn't believe how much control I had over him. Really helpful staff and they have some pretty cool toys for dogs too, when I have more time I'll definitely be back to shop around in there more.
These guys are like family to me and my dogs. I have two dogs that frequent Canine Connection and we've been going for about three years now. The staff knows their personality quirks and even the brand of food they eat. When I pick them up from boarding I get a full report on how they played, how they ate and if they had any issues. My dogs get excited as soon as we turn onto Tchoupitoulas and when I hand their leashes to the staff, they don't look back.
I started going here about a year ago, after a really bad (dangerous for dogs) experience elsewhere which left me pretty wary. I worried for nothing. My dogs are so well cared for there!! They are happy to go in, they come home relaxed and tired. The staff know my dogs, and my dogs are always so happy to see them I know they look after them well. Gianna has groomed my dogs a few times now and always does a fabulous job, and always call if she has a question.
