Absolutely hands down the best Mexican food I've ever had. Bold smokey flavors and wonderfully seasoned dishes. The carne asada tacos are to die for (don't forget the lime ;) ) some of my other favorite dishes are the carnitas, chicken or beef chipotle, the taquitos, fluatas, spinach enchiladas, shrimp cocktail, soups, really and truly it is all so delicious! Often just pick up some chips and salsa to go. Nice way to relax and watch a good movie ;) the employees are so warm and really take time to k ow their guests. If you've been there a few times you are sure to have good conversation with the owners, Toby & Maria Gallo. Over the 25+ years I've been going there I have introduced many to this amazing restaurant and they now share my opinion of Los Arcos being the best Mexican cuisine in Alaska! Incorrect menu for this restaurant
The food is good, a little pricey. Secure was good, the drink are ok.
Simply canned food, service, attitude. The woman who runs the place has no idea her sense of importance far supersedes the actuality of the situation. Rude took on a whole new dimension. The food was marginal at best. We were invisible. Save your money. Get back in the car, go right up the street to King Street LaMex. Everything is made fresh, service is excellent. Only reason I went to this fast food, no service "so called restaurant" was a friends birthday. Never again. I'd give it a zero if I could, honesty is the best policy, but alas no zero stars.
Ate here for dinner yesterday 9/4/2013... service sucked and our order took forever..(at least 45 minutes) There is no one here!!! On top of that there was a big fragment of what seemed to be a paper coffee filter in my tamale... I understand that you can use coffee filters instead of corn husks but it was mixed in with the meat...plus their menu states they use corn husks. When I told our server... no response... no... "I'm sorry there is something in your food"... no...'let me see what I can do" nothing...later server came back and said it was actually a big piece of onion skin and wanted to debate the issue.... It was in my mouth.... IT WAS NOT ONION.... IT WAS PAPER.... never again!
