DO NOT GO TO LANCER AND LACE SALON!!I had a HORRIBLE experience.My scalp is falling off in chunks due to the harsh chemicals they kept on my head.I have been getting my color done for all my adult life (20+ years) and I have NEVER had this type of experience. I asked for a brightening to my existing BLONDE hair... I left with POOP BROWN HAIR w/ GRAY ENDS. She colored over my existing blonde (further damaging my hair) and I left the salon with brown hair. I called the next day and they refused to fix it or refund me. BEWARE!!!!! Wow! The Owner, "Maryjane", not only went Way BEYOND anything I'd imagined! She: Rescued my "Emergency Hair catastrophe" @ last min., Listened & clearly understood what I needed & Cleary explained me options w/o damaging it, & stayed after 12AM to Finish! She educated me on the products I needed to Maitain MY look(Not even Her products!) & told me "Exactly" where to find them & Why, & SHE WAS ABSOLUTELY Correct!
Fantastic salon! It's a hidden gem in Seattle. Such a warm and inviting atmosphere; I always leave with a fantastic cut & color. I can see why they've won so many awards. I just had my hair retouched with Lisa's newest stylist, Becca, and she did a fantastic job. Since Lisa personally trains each of her stylists, you are in good hands with any one of them.
The stars tell the story - excellent! Always an enjoyable experience! I'm headed there right now for another haircut!
I just had an appointment with Scott and he is amazing! ! The whole staff is friendly really, but he had a chill energy and took my vague idea and translated it into art! I am now devoted to this adorable place in Ballard! Amazing!

Purchased a gift certificate at a charity auction. The certificate read the services to be included were: VISIA Digital Completion Analysis; Consultation with Medial Aesthetician and SkinMD Cosmetic Physician; Refining & Resurfacing Facial Treatment and Peel; Post Treatment Skincare; 25% off a skincare system and treatment package.When I arrived for my appointment I was told Dr. Balogun was not in the office. This was a huge disappointment as that was the primary reason I purchased the certificate - as I had some skin issues I wanted to discuss with a physician.The resurfacing and peel treatment was ok. I didn't see or feel any noticeable difference with my skin. I was expecting to peel and reveal new skin - which didn't happen. So would not recommend this treatment. Felt it was a waste of time.In order to get the 25% discount I had to purchase 3 products (not on the gift certificate fine print by the way). So, I purchased three TNS products. Even with the discount I found these products online and at another skin clinic for substantially less. So, on October 15th (appointment was October 10th) I returned the unused, unopened, in original packaging with price stickers still attached products to the office. Dr. Balogun was at the front desk when I arrived. I explained the issue and she said "I will get someone to help you with that."Zeyna refused to process the return. At the time of purchase no one told me (3 gals at the front desk) that the products were non-returnable. I asked six times for a sales receipt with the words non-refundable or non-returnable - of course she could not provide. I asked twice to speak to Dr. Balogun and was ignored.On October 18th I sent a letter to Dr. Balogun. To date there has been no response.I left the products with Zeyna as I was late to an appointment. This is supposedly a medical office - so I expect the personnel to conduct themselves in a professional and ethical manner. A refund has not been received - and they have the returned products. Not issuing the refund is no different than reaching in to my wallet and stealing $350.
