Let me start by saying that this has been the best Dealer experience we have had. We leased 2 new vehicles and the transaction was smooth and effortless. Paul Makowski was awesome throughout the entire process and his communication skills are top notch. Couldn't be happier and will definitely recommend all family and friends. We drove an hour and 20 minutes to the dealership and it was well worth the drive. We tried our local dealer 3 times over the past 3 years to purchase a car and all 3 times were pushed out the door. The local dealer is big and have dealerships that sell other brands of vehicles. We highly recommend Ed Rinke Chevrolet. It's worth the drive!!!
I purchased a new 2016 Corvette from them two months ago. I brought it in for two warranty issues.
They lied about the repairs being completed, they took the car without my permission to an unauthorized mom and pop shop because they didn't trust their own technicians, and then someone took my car on a joyride. Beyond all that, the lack of professionalism, communication, and customer service is astounding. I wouldn't trust them with a 2001 Impala, let alone a Corvette.
This was my first time leasing a vehicle from Ed Rinke. My salesman Mike Pellrin was able to answer all my questions and concerns that i had made my 1st leasing experience a great one! I will definitely recommend all my friends and family to Ed Rinke and i will back in two years for my next lease! :)
I took my 2005 Cadillac DeVille in for a oil leak only,on March 23,2015 after spending 5,159.79 only to drive my Car to a Funeral Friday April 10th,my Car is leaking oil still and it's shaking and the check engine light is on, needless to say that the Dealership is closed,I'm very disappointed at this point,I only use the Dealership for work on my Car,this is the 2nd time I feel like I've been taken advantage of by dealerships,since 2012 I've spent 10,000 on repairs, for the same thing,I've always used the Dealership oppose to a Mechanic Shop,but I feel like being a Woman that I've been taken advantage of and this is not fair on any level,each time Ive had to repeatedly take the Car back, don't know what to do, maybe I might have to seek legal advice
Long story short, Ive had ongoing issues with my vehicle with a loud hammering sound when shifting, they told me it was poor fuel, which makes no sense, when they asked if i used a gas station frequently i told them several times i do not use any particular gas station frequently to which they completely ignored and said well just make sure you change gas stations? so I come back later as they advised and they told me its a spark plug? a spark plug causes a hammering noise and vibration underneath the clutch? again makes no sense. So i schedule a third visit end up having to take work off early which got me in trouble with them only to find out that these incompetent buffoons didn't even schedule me but scheduled a rental, so again we have a problem, how do they resolve it? the shrug their shoulders and say sorry, needless to say i gave them a poor survey and let them know if they wanted to make it right to contact me, of course they didn't, so if you want sub-par/poor service with technicians who don't listen to what your telling them and give you absurd and irrelevant diagnosis to the concern you address, who are borderline incompetent, then this is the dealership for you.

I came to Ed Rinke was their service involvement in our community. They allowed me too collect Cell Phones for Soldiers from our church and they mailed them for us. My salesman, Frank, was great. He listened to all my preferences and concerns, then kept them in mind until the right car came along for my daughter. No pressure. The financing was swift, concise, and helpful. I have not used the service department, but plan on returning for my first oil change.
I love Ed Rinke Chevrolet sales and service department. They are very friendly if you are waiting for your car to be serviced. There is a comfortable waiting area with tv, popcorn, cookies, fresh fruit, reading materials and the restrooms close by. Very professional. I have bought several cars here and expect to buy many more.
