We bought 2 cars from here. The Dodge Stratus lasted us around 3 or 4 years, but early on found out it was a ticking time bomb. A mechanic (a friend of my wife's) told us to drive it for another 40 - 50k miles, then get rid of it, which we did. That left a bad taste, but nothing compared to the service experience. The Subaru Forrester we bought has been in and out for repair (to the point where we finally replaced it with a Toyota Prius). On one visit to the repair shop, I was told the cost of repair was going to be $96. The bill ended up being around $150. When I asked the reason, it was for diagnostics. Wasn't happy since they didn't include that in the first place, but ok, no big deal. Then I walk out to my Subaru and go to get in and see a 3 - 4" rip in the driver side seat. Rip isn't quite accurate as it looked as though someone had scratched a screwdriver across the material so that it was cracked, but not fully ripped. Immediately, I turned around and went back in and told them about the new decoration they left on my seat. The original service guy told me he would check with the mechanic to see if he remembered doing it. He didn't. Then they send out the service manager to come take a look. He proceeds to tell me that this is a wear tear and that I must just not have noticed it before. My jaw hit the floor. I explained that I am the ONLY driver of the vehicle and that it wasn't there 24 hrs earlier when I dropped it off. Without saying it directly, he proceeded to insinuate I was lying, that there was no way that was done by them, that my vehicle (with 70k miles at the time and NO OTHER RIP ANYWHERE) naturally will have these kinds of wear & tear in the seat. I was getting quite upset, but then the final touch was him saying "Well, we will agree to disagree. I'll get this scheduled to get replaced at no cost to you, but you need to know that I know we didn't do this and that it was already there." I tell ya, if I wasn't a serene man to begin with, I may have been liable to hit him right then & there. They did repair the seat, though not w/out the service manager coming to show me, upon pick up, pictures of another Forester with 90k miles on it that had rips & tears on all of the seats. I pointed out that that might be the case for that car because it obviously hadn't been taken care of and that my car had 0 other rips outside of the one his mechanic left. I vowed then and there never to buy another vehicle from here so as not to have to deal with the service department. It is tough finding other mechanics to work on Subarus in Cedar Rapids, so buyers beware: take photographs of your vehicles before you take them in or insist that they do it! If they hadn't repaired the seat, this would have been a 1 star instead. However, they did do the right thing in the end, but not w/out all of the extra flack. In my mind, if you are going to call the customer a liar, you might as well not bother fixing the problem since you already will have made the experience extremely negative. No words or actions after doing so can repair the damage done.

My experience there has been exceptional! From the minute I walked in and the sales man greeted me and started the process, I received nothing but great service!!! Craig, my sales guy was very helpful to make the process go as smooth as possible and the finance department was exceptional! I have had my vehicle now for almost 3 years and during the whole course of the time I have received great service in the service department too...Every time I have called the service department, they were able to schedule me an appointment quickly and never left an appointment unsatisfied. When I came to JdByrider I was nervous about getting a car/loan due to a recent divorce and didnt know if anyone could help me...The general manager, Adam reassured me that it would help me out with my credit and he was amazing helping me out through out the whole process...Now, I'm so thankful I did! I now can go to another dealership and get a loan and getting ready to buy a house!!! Thank you guys so much!!!
after getting turned down everywhere i was able to drive off with the car i had never excpected to get with little money down. i was given a budget to make sure i could afford the payments and insurance along with all my monthly bills. The sales team was very friendly, informative and understanding about my past credit issues. The owner of the company even gave me a tour of the shop, finance company, and explained how my wannty works. That is something very special to me because big companies hardky ever have the owner of the company around, and surely would come out and shake my hand, and give me a walk around his facility. The warranty is is also unbeatable. Zero deductible powertrain, and they also cover brakes, alternators, starters, and other areas where most extended warranty companies do not. Thank you very much to the owner and everyone who was involved in helping me get this beautiful vehicle
I had a great experience at Westdale supercenter, it was a very clean neat place! I felt so comfortable the moment I walked in the door! I was nervous because it was my 1st time buying a car.The Salesman Everett Brown made all those nervous feelings go away, he was happy to work with me,he made great eye contact the whole time and that let me know I could trust him! He was patient with me and got me the best car for my budget! I recommend that any and everyone shop with them! Krisi L.
I love this place they have great service! I don't know what those other people are talking about! This place rocks! They only have my car for a oil change for like 30 min and their office is so comfortable. That other review was probably their fault for buying a crappy car
I bought a new car they fixed everything before I bought it , something went wrong they fixed it gave me a ride home and gas cards for my inconvenience, offered me a car to used while my car was in the shop, they are good people with good intentions
Best selection in town they had 5 different cars that I was considering Rick spent alot of time showing me the pros and cons of each one and was never pushy. I wish I would have gone there first
the are the best group of people enjoyed working with them and the cars are priced great. i would buy all my cars there too , just give them a call at 319 365 0723 ,,they are great to talk to
Great experience with my lease with Dave Wright sales team. Everyone is so friendly and knowledgeable about the cars they sell. Not pushy and listen well Kevin Carter alone is the best
