I went into this store looking to purchase some furniture and found something I liked but did not know how much money I would qualify for. The sales associate said he could run a quick credit check to see what I qualified for so he did. My family and I decided to wait and not make the purchase. Well today a week later I receive a Credit card in the mail from Rooms To Go. Needless to say I am pissed! No one ever told me i would be applying for a card. It was supposed to be a simple credit check. So now I have to cancel that card with the risk of my credit being downgraded. SO WARNING DO NOT FALL FOR THEIR "" QUICK CREDIT CHECKS ."" BAD BUSINESS..

We purchased on 9/10 --- my husband and I wrote a check for our purchase, which is equal to paying cash. It was for approx $1,000. It wasn't a big purchase and we didn't need to finance.
On Monday 9/12 we cancelled our purchase. A WEEK LATER OUR SALES PERSON called US to tell us that she left the sale OPEN so we could just come in and pick out something else. THEY THOUGHT THEY COULD JUST KEEP OUR $$$ UNTIL WE PICK OUT SOMETHING ELSE!!!!!!!!!! I told her that I would not be back in for a while as we lived out of town. She did that to get her commission or sale or whatever but it did not help us out at all. I had to call and talk to a manager to start the refund process to get our $$$ back. He told me it would take 10 days ---- WHEN MY HUSBAND JUST CALLED THEY SAID 30 DAYS!!!!!!! All this store does is tell lies lies lies. I turned them into the attorney general's office today. They should be able to do a immediate refund when you cancel a order. If not it should take no longer than 7 business days tops!!! They are trying to keep their sales but they have lost a customer as I would NEVER step foot in this store again.

Bought living room furniture and was talked into buying the warranty which would protect me from food stains and fading, ""great service , since you have a 5 year old"". Got a food stain and called in november 2010 it was january 2011 before a ""field representative came out"" some local contractor. Put Simple Green on the stain,and old english stain on my faded chair and submitted ""fixed"". After the gallon of chemicle dried stain still there, called and then was asked to send in pics, to replace,BUT then ANOTHER non rooms to go rep shows another 2 month and half, cleans it again, NOT,and has to this date 3-30-2011 never been warrantied or replaced,This does not include the countless calls I made, because there is no quality follow up calls from Rooms to go, there plan is for you to just go away. Still have a lovely food stain on my furniture and no one has called or responded to me, to see how my furniture is now. After I paid extra money for there award warranty (scam) STAY AWAY! Spend extra for your furniture, you will be happier longer. STAY AWAY this furniture is low quality in a nice store front, with zero support.

I would not recommend this store to my worst enemy. As a military service member, I will be recommending to the Fort Hood Garrison Commander that this store be placed on the blacklist so other soldiers will not have to face the same horrible experience and damage to their credit report. The store manager ""Calvin"" is very sneaky and conniving. He’s a master of salesmanship and knows all the loop- holes to take and keep your money. Stay away from this store!!!!!!!!

We've purchased furniture here several times and have always found the staff friendly, helpful, and not pushy. Just like anywhere, there are always a few bad eggs, but I've bought 4 rooms of furniture there at varying times over the past 5 years and have always been delighted. I highly recommend Cathy Wright as a salesperson. She goes above and beyond to help you find what you need and resolve any issues that might arise.
