Moda

Not only have I been in customer service for years, but the wedding industry as well, and I have never experienced anything like Moda. In my personal opinion, their selection of suits appear cheap and tacky; however, this was the brides choice. The suits came back exactly one week before the wedding and, come to find out, the men were never even fitted for their shirts. The owner, Tyler Eastburn, offers to waive the fee for the alterations and when the suits come back once more, turns out the pants had not been altered either. The hems had been done, but they were never taken in at the waist... in fact, the grooms pants still had markings on them! It being 4 days before the wedding, the bride is quite frantic and doesn't even feel comfortable sending the pants back to be altered once more and takes them elsewhere. As the wedding coordinator, I step in as a calm voice of reason, as opposed to an irate bride, and Tyler tells me, to make up for the inconvenience, he will "take care of the gentlemen's ties." When I call the store back to find out what method they will be using to refund the price previously paid for the ties, store associate Adrian proceeds to tell me that he was instructed by Tyler to provide us with 5 extra ties, even though there are 7 men in the wedding, and not to refund the money, then rudely hangs up on me. I reached out to Tyler, yet again, to find out why he would think unnecessary ties would be proceived as a solution and his response was simply that he would not deal with this and we could just return the suits and go elsewhere... I would love to do that at this point; however, now being 3 days from the wedding, that is no longer an option. The lack of service and clear disregard for customer concern Moda and it's owner and staff have shown is beyond unacceptable to me. If I could give this store even less than 1 star, I would. My recommendation is to STAY AWAY from Moda.
