Emergency Veterinary Clinic Inc

On August 3, 2013; our dog Gizmo was not feeling well and was at the end of his life. Gizmo was 2 months shy of his 16th birthday. It was around 3:30 in the afternoon and we really did not know who could take care of his needs, see Gizmo had not been hardly walking for the past 6 months, and my husband would get up 2 to 3 times a night to take him out to do his business. Although, Gizmo didn't act like he was in pain we both new it was time as he was passing blood in his stool. He had a great life and brought so much joy to ours, he will be missed forever. We want to thank the staff for there kindness and caring way that they handled Gizmo, you would have thought he belonged to them. You can go along time without meeting people who generally care but each one of them were so concerned about our dog and us. We just wanted to thank them again, and would highly recommend them to anyone who wanted to have there pets taken care of.

TOOK OUR 11YR OLD AMERICAN BULLDOG IN ON A SUNDAY WORRIED ABOUT HER BECAUSE SHE WASN'T ABLE TO WALK UPON WAKING SUNDAY MORNING. SHE ONLY HAS THREE LEGS, LOSS REAR LEG TO CANCER THREE YRS AGO. VET HERE SAID IT WAS PROBABLY A STOMACH PROBLEM? WANTED TO XRAY OUR DOG, BUT WE SAID NO, THEY SHE ORDERED BLOOD WORK AND CHECKED HER KIDNEYS AND LIVER, SHE THEN SAID SOMETHING WEIRD, SHE SAID THE XRAY WOULD BE $120 AND THAT TREATMENT WOULD RUN $600? HOW DID SHE KNOW HOW MUCH TREATMENT WOULD BE IF SHE HADN'T SEEN AN XRAY YET AND STILL WASN'T SURE WHAT WAS WRONG WITH OUR DOG? WE DECIDED TO LEAVE AND GO TO OUR VET. TOOK OUR DOG TO OUR VET AND WITHIN A FEW MINUTES HE DETERMINED SHE HAD HIP DISPALSHIA AND A BLOWN PATELLA[KNEE]. HAD TO HAVE OUR GIRL PUT DOWN RIGHT THERE ON THE SPOT SINCE SHE HAD ONLY ONE REAR LEG SHE COULDN'T HAVE HEALED FROM HIP SURGERY. AVOID THIS VETS AT ALL COSTS. LOUSY DIAGNOSIS.

We will be forever grateful to these guys for their services! Our cat was hit by a car and she was already a rescue. Someone had previously used her as target practice and we found her fighting for her life. So, you can understand that we wanted someone that would give extra special care. We called MANY different emergency clinics. I feel that a lot of them play on the fear factor and really go for your wallet while the getting is good. I actually had to pay 60 bucks for one of my phone calls!!! None of that here. They helped calm us, they gave us all of our options, and they really took care of our kitty. We have 2 cats and 2 dogs. Our kitty had broken both hips and had to have a plate put in one of them. She is running around with the others now, 3 weeks later!!!!! :-) Thank You Guys!!!!!
