They claim you damage the unit when you move out then sue you and hurt your credit for the difference. I have never lost security deposit in 30+ years of renting. I lived in this place for two years then moved out, always paid the rent on time, they didnt have any problem from me. We cleaned the place and left it cleaner then they gave it to us. The carpets were filthy when we moved in. When I moved out they sent me a letter in the mail saying I owed $562.00 in drywall damage, $589.00 in carpet damage and a bunch of other made up fees, and I wouldn't be getting my security deposit back and i owed them. The carpet was used when we moved in with stains, then they took pictures of the dirty carpet that we tried to clean, as well as some dark pictures of some random wall with black stuff on it and tried to say we damaged the apartment. Now they have sent the bill to a collection agency ruining my good credit and are bringing me to court for extra money. Some one needs to class action law suit this place. Dont move in here unless you want your credit ruined when you didnt do anything wrong. Customer service makes you wait 30 minutes to talk to someone and the rental office wont help you. Maintenance never shows up, but will just unlock your door, wont knock, and come in to change a battery in he smoke alarm. This placed screwed me and now I’m having trouble renting because my credit is messed up.
I recently moved out from the Nunnery lane apartments and they suck. especially when blue ocean took over. they will not give no one a break with late rent they are total asses and that's why I moved out. their properties aren't that nice they are small and for 1100 dollars a month they are not worth living in there. do not move to nunnery lane, and they also have let paint poison, mice, and cock roaches.
In the short time I have lived here (6 mos.) I have dealt with three leaky pipes, cockroaches, mice, black mold that just won't go away, repairs that get started but never completed, unresponsive management, and more. This has been a terrible and depressing experience. Don't make the same mistake I did. Keep looking. You'll be happy you did.
