The boys who just opened show down the street have really proved themselves to be both gentlemen and good people. Noticing my brothers clutch was starting to go I had sourced a new one myself offline. Gave the new shop a call and they were able to quote me a labor price and stay well within tolerance of that quote. The new clutch did a number on my brothers old belt tensioner system (at 150,000 miles and not the best stick driver it was bound to happen) had a price quote, and not seeking brand name parts, they were actually able to come in a good few dollars UNDER their quote. While I imagine this is not typical, it was not information or saving they were obliged to share with me. They have gained an extended family of customers with me with their honesty and refreshing business tactics.

PS, they are new and seeking customers, so the turnaround time is great. Always good to be a valued early customer in an operation getting off the ground. They are the type with customer commitment, and their sense of humor and personalities make you feel like you're chatting with a close friend. Happy to review these guys and will return when our older cars run into inevitable problems.
